The print is easily readable, the illustrations are beautiful and most of the pertinent information is at provided. This book gets my thumbs up for sure! Wonderful Book and Well Made
I fall in love with wildlife books, birds are one of my favorites and this hardcover was put together very well, the introduction was especially written well, the colorful illustrations are fabulous and the information and tips were also written well, easy to understand. My top bookshelf contains a lot of books on birds from all over the world and this “The Backyard Birdwatcher’s Bible” fits perfectly in line with my other books but I will be reading and studying the books content regularly, it’s one of those books a true bird lover will keep close at hand. The Bottom Line: The Hardcover Book appears well made, the pages are good quality and have good thickness to prevent tearing after many turns. The print is easily readable, the illustrations are beautiful and most of the pertinent information is at provided. This book gets my thumbs up for sure!

Even better than I imagined! High quality hardback and paper stock. Has 4 chapters (Backyard Bird Species, Birdwatching for Beginners, Attracting Birds, and Birds in Art). The Birds in Art chapter has past and current artists, which I am looking forward to reading. Tons of photos, artwork, and geographical color maps to locate where you might find certain birds. I wouldn't recommend for taking out in the field - book itself is slightly damaged on the back so I don't think it's meant to be outside.

Wow!!! This book has everything.
Where do I start with this gorgeous book? I own more bird books than you can imagine, and I have no idea how I got along without this one for so long. The photographs are stunning, as is all the information. This is a big book you'll be consulting every day for the joy of looking and reading about the birds you love.

Great value for the cost
Really great book! Complete book on not only information about the birds, but also how to go about being a bird watcher and how to set bird habitats up for yourself. Hardcover and beautiful pictures!

Gorgeous Book and Pleasant to Read
The book is pretty new so it is a bit stiff at first but the cover is attractive and the book is bound well. The pictures and descriptions inside are not only lovely but helpful. We have identified some of the birds in our region with the aid of this book. It is great resource and a beautiful coffee table book. Would be a great gift to give too!
