One Piece, Vol. 96 (96)

Since the start of One Piece 95 volumes ago Luffy has always had a least a chapter as the main character. But with volume 96 that changed in a large way, as almost the entire volume takes place long before Luffy was born. Back when pirates like Roger, Whitebeard and Kaido were establishing their reputations that would make them the legends they became know as. There was a samurai named Oden and he was born to boil.If there was doubt about why Wano history was being built up, may this volume lay thoughts fears to rest. I wasn't sure to what to think of Oden when I first meet him. In fact if I am being completely honest I was wondering why are we even doing a flash back about characters we hardly knew. But after the this and the previous volume it all clicks together. Yes it's the history of Wano but it is so much more as it ties so well into the main story of One Piece and gives us answers to long held questions. So if you weren't feeling the last volume I urge to read this one because the pay off is well worth your time. -MickManga

I received it almost a couple hours ago or a little bit more, and I’ve already finished it. Oden’s flashback. What an amazing tragic story.I loved it so much. It made me feel so many different emotions in just.. what ? 17 chapters or so ?? Anyway I can’t emphasize how much I enjoyed it, it definitely deserved the wait. I’m already excited for the next volume to come out.

Exciting reading in this volume

Maybe I'm a little biased because I'm a sucker for all things Samurai. But Wano has been my favorite One Piece arc by far. While most manga writers slack off later into a long series, Oda continues to prove why he's the richest and best selling manga writer of all time. He gets better with age not weaker.

This volume details the adventures of Oden with Gold Rodger to the beginning of the raid of Onigashima! Do yourself a favor and start from the beginning of this wonderful manga! This is a series that will stand the test of time!

It came in a couple days and wasn't damaged. I'm going to buy more.

Hands down the greatest manga/anime in history (sorry dragon ball but you dont come close).

Que volume! Flashback do Oden é incrível!!! A edição da Viz media é bem superior a da panini aqui no Brasil sendo menor nos comprimentos e maior na largura, que particularmente achei muito bom pois dá mais ênfase aos personagens principais do volume! Considerando o preço, eu diria que com essa qualidade vale sim pagar o preço equivalente a dois ou mais volumes em um importado, claro que, se ler em inglês não faz diferença pra você compre! 😁👒

Best One Piece flashback? Easily one of the best plot twists and reveals in all of fiction too. Fantastic volume.

So, I got Vol 96 in very Great condition compared to some of other orders and packaging was great too. Now Vol 96 is have best chaps of wano and it is my favourite vol to with Oden Flashback is over and Amazing of in last Chap. So I recommend you to Buy it.
