Would these fit for my 4yr old if she scrunched them down?

Probably not. I have larger arms and they fit me comfortably. I would look for a child's version of this.

How thick are these? I purchased a similar pair and they were very thin and not right for winter. Looking for something heavy and warm.

I feel they are thick like a sweater or good pair of mittens. Mine are also a bit loose and baggy. Which I think adds to the thickness feeling.
