This review is for Nivea Men Sensitive Shaving Skin Care Set, Sensitive Shave Gel and Sensitive Post Shave Balm, 2 Pack. I have been using various Nivea products for many years. I have never run across a product of theirs that I did not like. I have been using the Nivea Men Sensitive Soothing Post Shave Balm for years. It's been the best one that I have tried so far, and I have only maybe tried a half dozen over the years. It really soothes the skin. It also absorbs nicely, and it seems hydrate nicely as well. The scent is very light, so I don't run into any issues of it lingering. In fact, I think the scent is completely gone after a little while. Which I like, because I want my cologne to be what is smelled. Also, a very little of this goes a long way, so a bottle lasts me a long time. I decided to give the Nivea Men Sensitive Shave Gel a try. My normal go to at home is Edge Sensitive Gel, and when traveling has been Tommy Hilfiger shaving creme (which I don't think is offered any more). I have no complaints with my Edge Sensitive Gel at all, but I figured I would try Nivea. I have only been using the Nivea for a short while, but it is very nice. I would say it is slightly better than the Edge. It feels like a combination of creme, lotion, and gel. I put as small of a dollop as I can get (more on that later) on to my hand, lather it up a bit, and apply. A small amount goes a long way. The shave experience is very nice. The razor glides smoothly, and the skin feels nice and hydrated. So, back to getting just a small dollop. It might be that the can is still very new, but no matter how fast I try to press and release the button too much product comes out. Overall, this is the best shave gel I have used so far, and I have no problem recommending it.

My neck is very sensitive to razor burn, so aftershave is important. This has been my go to for years. It goes on easy and dries quickly leaving no residue or sticky feeling. I decided to give the shave gel a try when I needed to reorder the aftershave. Im glad I did. I shave my head daily and this stuff works better than the Cremo brand I was using. It lathers up so well using just a little especially when using a lather brush. It make the shave so close and smooth. Will definitely be reordering.

I decided to buy this for my husband to try after seeing him struggle with irritation after shaving- especially his head since he’s bald. He absolutely loves both the shaving cream and aftershave and it has helped his skin so much! The shaving cream creates a more smoother shave than other shaving creams and his skin doesn’t get irritated. The after shave is smooth, smells great, and doesn’t burn! Definitely recommend for people with sensitive skin!
