**UPDATE** I finally made it to the beach!! This device worked ok, mostly for items that seemed to be very deep. It sure what kind of interference it was getting but prob not the best tool for the job or time of day needed to be diff. I did successfully use this to locate several property markers and it worked awesome!!!I bought this item to use at the beach but with Covid, I haven’t actually gotten there to use it! I like that this is fairly light, has a nice display and the colors are easily seen if you set it down somewhere. I hadn’t realized when I ordered this one that it also comes with a carrying case and mini folding spade to help unearth your treasures! My son loves it! The arm rest is pretty comfortable and it assembled easily.

Save yourself the money. I buried some coins and was able to find them. But this thing says everything is is buried treasure. Haven’t dug a hole that I didn’t purposely plant something in, that has yeilded anything but rocks. I bought this to find the property pins but after many attempts all it did was say I have silver 6-8 or further inches below ground every foot or two. Interference? Maybe. Cheap metal detector probably. Too late to return it since I used it so much and dug holes with the shovel so figured it’d be my money for you all to learn with! Skip it unless you want you need a way to convince your kids to dig up the yard

Super easy to assemble and to use. It has become my family's favorite weekend activity.
