The media could not be loaded. This is a good value pack of matches. The package comes with 10 of the individual match boxes. Each box is compact and I love the design of the match box, I think it’s nice enough to leave out next to your candle. I appreciate that the match burns for a while. The match itself is kinda thin, so you have to be a little careful when striking it by holding it closer to the tip, but they seem durable enough!

Historically, I have purchased Diamond strike-on-box matches because they are a dominant, widely available brand. I was almost always disappointed by their hesitancy, even resistance, to lighting on the first strike or two, with each additional strike increasing the odds the match will eventually fail entirely. I assume this is due to over-zealous optimization (i.e. stinginess) with respect to the ignition chemicals embedded in the match head and strike strip. When lighting a match, I feel like if you hear a crackle and see a spark, then you have competently performed your duty as the match operator. If the match fails to ignite at that point, it is a failing of the match.Anyway, I switched to these and they are much better.

The match heads are very small so it’s difficult to light a candle before they extinguish. The boxes are cute, but I wouldn’t repurchase
