Nice umbrella
I like it for its ease in which it opens. Its sturdy. Two velcro straps to keep it neatly closed. Wind proof. I would recommend.

Nice and Wide
I was searching for an umbrella that was wider than average. With normal umbrellas, drops always drip off the sides and get your pants or bag wet. I like that this one is wide and also still compacts into a small size with a wrist strap. Wide enough to keep two people mostly dry. It gets harder to keep two people dry when you are walking - you know how it is. That's not the fault of the umbrella though. I would've preferred a little color, like a baby pink or something. At first I set out to definitely not buy a black umbrella because I thought it boring and bland and everyone has a black umbrella. But in the end, I decided I wanted something functional and good quality over fashionable, in this case. And for the price? It's wonderful! I can't believe how expensive umbrellas can be!

Found the perfect umbrella
I moved overseas just in time for rainy season. We bought 3 umbrellas…yellow, maroon and navy blue. All are exceptionally well put together. Does not feel cheap. Good quality, color and no rust or functional issues. Hoping it will withstand heavy winds.

This is an example of the same umbrella being sold by different brands
Overall, probably the best value for your money. As I stated in my title for this review, there are other brands out there on Amazon with this same engineering and technology used in this umbrella, all with their own unique twist and correlating prices. I got this one for $10, a bargain compared to other similar umbrellas on Amazon and way better value than many of the best umbrellas offered in brick and mortar stores, including TJ Max, Marshall’s, Ross, Target , and Walmart. As stated in other reviews there are details stated about this umbrella which are not true in the version I received. An example is there fist statement regarding 10 reinforced resin ribs, which is true for the Tumella version but this brand had the same engineering design but used metal ribs. This makes this umbrella more compact when collapsed. My Tumella version does have the plastic/resin ribs and when collapsed, is slightly bulkier. This umbrella with the metal ribs is also noticeable more heavier than my similar sized Tumella. For price comparison, my Tumella was almost twice this price, although the design difference is my Tumella version is vented to allow strong wind gusts to pass from under the umbrella. Both umbrellas are worth your consideration.

Water resistant fabric
I love this umbrella. What I noticed right away after using it is that the fabric is either coated in something water resistant or it is just a really good fabric for an umbrella. I didn't even know how sloppy and pathetic my boyfriends umbrella was until I got this one. His umbrella was better than nothing out in the rain but....his umbrella absorbs the water. You really notice this when you are coming in and you fold up the umbrella. His sloppy umbrella is dripping wet and creates a mess where this umbrella the water just beads off. With the water beading off I just shake the umbrella a bit and it is practically dry. I'm not even kidding. It is so fabulous. Top that off with the automatic opening and a great working automatic closing and its perfect. The automatic closing is a must have especially when you are getting into your car out of the rain. It's so simple, you just press the button and the umbrella folds up immediately. Then just shake it off with 1 shake is enough and you put your dry umbrella in the car. It's perfect. I might get one in another color just in case this one is stolen!
