Reebok Men's Cross Fit Nano 8.0 joggers are re-engineered with Flexweave upper to provide breathability, stability, and durability, and the added cushioning in the forefoot helps keep you comfortable; Surpasses its predecessors in performance and fit. Forefoot flex grooves add flexibility, while a high-abrasion rubber outsole maximizes durability. New heel bootie construction provides ultimate performance comfort, and toe tection provides protection to the toe area for sport activities. The CrossFit-specific outsole gives you grip in the box so you can hit your PRs and ideal for high intensity workouts and jogs. Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

Great workout sneaker
The Speed Tr Flexweave have a very flat, low to the ground feel. That and the fact that they are very flexible and extremely light weight make them great for all types of workouts. They are also a bit roomier than other crossfit style shoes that I own. In particular, both the Reebok Nano 8's and the Nike Free x Metcon's have a more snug fit, maybe due to the booty design both of those have. The Speed Tr's are a bit longer and slightly narrower in the toe box. But because of the more traditional laced design, can be tightened or loosened as needed to accommodate various sock thicknesses. So, if you find the Nano's or Nike a bit too snug, or don't like the compression feel of the booty type shoes, these might be a great option. As far as how they perform, I'd say they are in between the Nike and the Nano's. The Nano's feel indestructible while the Nike's feel a bit delicate with the Speed's somewhere in between but closer to the Nano's. The Speed's by far feel the lightest and most agile. You don't feel restricted in them at all and they are good for all types of workouts including lifting and sprinting. While they feel great when working out, the lack of cushion and super low to the ground feeling makes them less desirable as a casual sneaker for me. Also, though not exactly ugly, they're nowhere near as nice looking as the Nike Free x Metcon's. But if what you're interested in is an awesome workout shoe, this one hits a sweet spot.

Super comfortable and durable
I originally bought a silver pair of these in a Reebok outlet store in 2019. During the 2020 pandemic, I needed new shoes, but didn't know where to go since I couldn't easily try any on. When I found these in a couple colors on Amazon, I jumped on these red/black ones as well as a solid blue option. Both are very comfortable, supportive or short and long distancing, durable, and of course great for cross-fit. I recommend these shoes and especially in this color. I was first skeptical or the red, but it is more red speckled into the black than bright @$$ red shoes that tend to be obnoxious. Plenty of people have already commented on the great coloring since I've bought these. Would buy more pairs just to stock up, but well worth investing in them!

You May Like These. My Wife Didn't Like Mine.
I know people who like these. My wife didn't like them. She didn't like the way they looked on me. I didn't mind so much. I thought they looked OK. But she said if I wore them people would laugh at me. I lead 12 fitness classes a week with over 100 people total. That's a lot of people laughing at me. I sent them back. I still think they looked OK, but I didn't want to take the chance. I think my wife probably meant well, but she can be kind of mean sometimes. Since she makes more money than I do, and I still get to buy things, I just be quiet and send things back she doesn't like. She lets me keep some things, if she likes them. Sometimes my wife can be kind of nice. I think she means well.

Reasonably priced cross-fit/casual weightlifting shoe
Fit and feel of shoes is highly subjective (everyone's feet are different), so I won't go into a lot of detail here. I can say that these felt like they ran a tad small and I had to size up 1/2 size to ensure my toes had enough room to spread out while lifting weights.Although these are marketed as a generic cross trainer, I think they are probably a bit more focused on cross-fit and weightlifting activities. The drop is fairly low and the sole is definitely designed for stability rather than flexibility. They're fine for walking but I can't see myself running for very long in them. I'm not a powerlifter by any means, but for what I do with free weights, they have given me the planted feeling I wanted. The mesh fabric probably provides better airflow but it's not something I've really noticed in the gym. While I'm outside, and a breeze is blowing, I can absolutely feel it throughout the shoe. Maybe someone working out with lots of floorstanding fans would notice it? In other words, I don't think these are the most breathable shoes I've ever worn, but they're definitely not the kind of shoe that just makes your foot marinate in it's own sweat for an hour.I saw some reviews about the shoes coming apart after only a few months of ownership. I don't participate in obstacle courses ("Tough Mudder" and similar), nor am I doing anything very aggressive in the gym, so I can't comment on their durability there. For brief warm-up walks and some simple weightlifting, they're doing fine after 6 months.

Fit grwar
I've had every nano series, reebok trainers (2.0s also), and speed trainers...this flexweave hybrid is by far the best in weight, durability and performance for me.Depending on how you like your fit - this fits comfortable snug around ankle and top of foot, room for toes to spread for dynamic movement, comfort for running (max I've ran at once with them is 4+ miles), used them for lifting in wods, rope-climbs, box jumps, lunges, etc. So far they work for everything thats daily for my modality of fitness.Highly recommend them if you're looking for a new pair to test run. Go with Amazon Waredrobe to try them first - you get a week, if they don't work, you send them back with no charge....so why not try them.

Fantastic fit, comfy, and breathable
I didn't know this when I ordered these shoes but they have a thin mesh on the front sides of the shoes that allow a good amount of air to pass through. These are very nice in the summer on hot days to allow for your feet to breathe. However, if you live in an area where it gets cold like I do I would make sure to have alternatives. The same reason why these are great in the summer is why they are very poor in the winter. Cold wet feet are no fun.
