I love this new box grater. It has a nice stable silicone base or you can grate straight into the storage tub. My husband says it grates in under half the time of our old box grater. It’s quite a bit bigger than a standard box grater. Lovely comfy handle. Matches the rest of my empire red Kitchenaid tools :)

What stands out most is the sturdiness. The construction feels durable, and the top handle gives you excellent control while grating. It stays steady on the counter and feels secure in your hand no wobbling or slipping. Cleaning is also a breeze. Even though it’s dishwasher‑safe, I prefer to hand‑wash it. A quick scrub with warm, soapy water moving in the opposite direction of the grating motion gets it clean in seconds. A nice bonus is the included 3‑cup container that fits perfectly at the base to catch whatever you’re grating. It even comes with a lid so you can store your shredded ingredients for later use without hunting for another container. Overall, this is a fantastic, long‑lasting kitchen tool that performs exactly as you’d hope. A solid purchase all around.
