Color Fanatic Leave-In Conditioner & Detangling Spray

My hairdresser introduced me to this product and I’ve been using for approximately 3years. It works as a leave in conditioner and a detangler as well as giving hair shine and smoothing, AND gives heat protection. One bottle lasts me for months. There is no stiff-hair feel and no stickiness.

This is a great leave in conditioner. Just spray in after the shower and brush through to the ends of the hair. It doesn't weigh your hair down, but smooths and protects beautifully. And smells fantastic.

This stuff is great. Works as a detangler, smells great and keeps frizz down. Doesn’t build up with 2-3 days use.

Bought it because it was on sale. I use this as a leave-in condition for thick, wavy hair. It helps with detangling my hair. So far, my hair has never been frizzy and it doesn't leave my hair looking greasy. The smell is also pleasant and not overwhelming.

Stylist recommended. It works well on my thick course hair. I find it reduces frizz and provides hydration. It very convenient and easy to use. It’s a must have on no wash hair days.

I have very fine 1A/2A, low-to-medium porosity slightly past shoulder-length hair with oily roots and serious issues with dryness near the ends. It also tends to fall flat with the use of product, and many products either weigh it down or can cause skin and scalp irritation. For me, this leave-in has been nothing short of a revelation. The leave-in spray is watery in consistency and lightweight rather than creamy and occlusive (like Ouai's leave-in, for example), and goes on easy, immediately detangling my stubborn, tangly locks. The scent is lightly floral and pleasant, and it is virtually weightless after drying. It leaves my hair soft, bouncy, and shiny rather than flat, stringy, and greasy as other leave-ins tend to. I do find that I still have some frizz, but I'm still working out my routine and how best this leave-in fits into it; I imagine with a little more use and care, the humid summer frizz will be tamed, as well. I'm always reluctant when I take a chance on an expensive product, as I have been disappointed with so many salon brand leave-ins in the past (UNITE, Ouai, Redken), but this particular conditioner is a no-brainer— well worth the cost, especially on sale, as I purchased it. The bottom line is that if you have sensitive skin or hair like mine, this stuff is like nectar for your tresses. I can think of no real downsides other than the cost, which, too, is justifiable given the size of the bottle. I genuinely threw out the remainder of my Ouai leave-in after giving it a try and haven't looked back.

This is honestly one of my holy grail hair products. My hair feels softer, shinier, and has noticeably fewer flyaways when I use it consistently. I also trust it as a heat protectant because my hair has stayed in much better condition while regularly using hot tools. It smells really nice and feels lightweight without making my hair greasy or heavy. My only complaint is the spray bottle because I feel like some product gets lost in the mist, so I’ve adapted by spraying with my hands around the section of hair to catch the extra product. I’ve used this for a long time now, travel with it everywhere, and can’t imagine not having it as part of my routine.

Great leave-in conditioner. This is my second order, and I’m very happy with the results.

Recommended? Yes, especially if you have dry, frizzy, easily tangled hair! Why we chose it? Wanted to up my hair game, hours of research and YouTube reviews laters and this seemed like the top choice for my dry, frizzy, thick, low porosity, 2c/3a curls. Life improved? Yes, I've repurchased many times! First step in my post shower routine, Hair is so easy to brush and it really does feel like it reduces damage from brushes, heat etc. It's so multifunctional! It's really improved the shine of my hair and reduces my frizz for a really long time, without making the hair feel heavy or like it's got any product in it! I like that it also doesn't need a sulphate shampoo to wash it out, can easily keep my curly girl shampoo and conditioner routine. It does have some silicone so not a true CG product in itself but they are soluble enough to be removed with very gentle cleansers. Value for money? It's expensive, but a little does go a long way. For other products in my routine I look for cheaper options but for this I've yet to find a cheaper alternative that gives the same results, so for me it's worth it!

I have chemically processed hair that is super dry and gets super tangled with every wash. I’ve tried numerous leave in treatments and detanglers and this is, hands down - THEE BEST! Some people complained here about the scent. I’ll say this, although it is scented - it doesn’t bother me a bit. It fades pretty quick and smells somewhat natural (synthetic smells usually trigger headaches for me. I’ve only used this a few times and already notice how dramatically better my hair looks and feels! No frizz. Smooth and shiny, not greasy. It’s a wonderful product and I’m sorry I didn’t buy it years ago. Note: You don’t have to use a lot. I mix this sometimes with sol de Janeiro’s heat protectant cream. - the two products together make my hair so hydrated and smooth! Don’t sit on this. Get it while it’s on sale!!!
