Twist-Off Bottle Opener for Weak Hands & Seniors with Arthritis

If you're tired of trying to twist off caps from super tight water bottles, you NEED this. Best thing since sliced bread. I'm 78 and have some arthritis in my fingers. I've been using a nut cracker for years to open bottles, but this item works on almost all size bottles and is EFFORTLESS. Love it! I even gave one to my neighbor for Christmas.

I was looking for something to help my wife open her daily protein water, especially when I am not available. These things are a bear for me to open even with full hand strength, so she has no chance with her grip issues and tremors. I checked a lot of openers, both hand-held and under-cabinet mount. Most of the hand-held are massive and expensive, which is great if you are opening a giant jar of pickles but not real helpful for sports drink sized caps. When I saw this little gem I was a bit skeptical since it was small and has a plastic handle. Something told me to give it a try. When I received it an opened the package I was pleasantly surprised that the plastic handle is really stout (not hollow, possibly melamine) and feels good in the hand. I tried it out first, seemed to be quite a bit easier to open a bottle. Let my wife know it was in the fridge with her drinks, waited for feedback. Several days later she held it up for me to see and proclaimed it was fantastic. I watched her use it and it only took moderate strength to crack the lid open, haven't had to help her since. Happy wife, happy life! Liked it so much I just ordered a second one for my mother. Might even get one for my desk at work, for the occasional vending machine visit.

Or maybe that should say a hand saver. I recently had CMC surgery on my hand. With this handy tool I can open bottles of water by myself. Works on soda caps, milk cartons, small jar lids. Ended up buying a 2nd one to keep at my desk at work.

This is a handy gadget. I often have trouble opening jars and now that my son moved out, I have no one to ask to open a darn jar. I'm not calling him to drive over and open a jar, and don't want to wait until he stops by so this fills the void (it's not a conversationalist though). It seems a bit small, but so far I have not had a lid that is too wide to fit. It gives just enough leverage. I'm glad I ordered it before I needed it. It's much easier than running a lid under hot water or pounding a lid with a knife handle.

Best return for my money ever! I’m 79 years old and have had trouble getting bottles and jars opened for years. I always had to depend on my husband and once when he wasn’t home, I had to get help from a neighbor. My husband is older than me and starting to have difficulty, too, so I thought I’d try this. It works great! It’s especially easy to loosen those ridged caps, but it even works on smooth ones. I even use it on the caps of half gallon almond milk cartons by bending the top of the carton enough to get the opener on the caps. Can’t say enough good about this! I even bought one for a friend.

This product arrived on time, when promised. It is smaller than other openers I’ve owned, but functions fine: it was easy to open the bottle first time. I have smaller hands so I like the grip. The bright yellow color is cheerful loo. I’m sure I will get a lot of use out of it.

Works great, easy to use and handle. Liked so much bought for relative who had issues opening bottles, and she loved it. One thing that would make this even better would be grips on the handles, other than that works really well for different size bottles and jars, up to but not including say a mayo jar as this has too wide a mouth opening.

Excellent for opening bottles or jars. The grip is wonderful and helpful for someone with arthritis in her hands. Bought a second one to have as back up.

Compré este producto para mi madre porque tiene problemas de artritis, al principio funcionó bien pero se rompió con el uso normal. Ella se decepcionó mucho. Voy a comprar otro de mejor calidad.

Those glass bottles with metal caps that slide/rotate rather than opening? This opener gives you a tight grip on the cap so you can turn it Hold the glass with a rubber grip if you must but you don't need it Better than using your molars!!!

Perfect size for my Arthritic hands ! I’m 71. Good metal teeth grip and sturdy for opening milk cartons and jars with ease. Very happy purchase!
