Seems something are more accurate than others
This is my second one, I found the first one to be more accurate, but dropped it in water briefly, immediately it fogged up inside screen, then finally stopped working. They are NOT water proof or steam proof. I wish they would have taken more time I their design to make them at least steam proof, after all they are meant to measure hot liquids? Other than the accuracy difference between the two identical thermometers and the fact they fog up under the screen, they are easy to read and the digital

Good for finishing maple syrup
We tried to finish our maple syrup with a traditional candy thermometer but it was inaccurate due to the tight increments on the dial face. This thermometer solved that problem and allowed us to complete our syrup with pinpoint accuracy.

Ne tient pas à la casserole
Le thermomètre ne tient pas accroché après la casserole. Le trou dans la pince pour tenir le thermomètre est trop gros pour qu'il ne glisse pas.
