Q: Is the filter reuseable or require extra replacement supply of filters???

The filter is reusable. I put mine in the dishwasher to clean it.

Q: Is the mesh filter dishwasher safe?

I have washed mine in the dishwasher at least ten times, and there is no damage to the filter. I put it on the top shelf in the dishwasher in an upright position.

Q: Can you use it for hot oil? Can you hand wash?

I used this to strain my Bone broth which was hot. Not sure why it wouldn’t work with oil. I’m also not sure why you wouldn’t be able to hand wash it. That’s how I washed mine.
