Hi-end electric toothbrush
Here's my look at it: This toothbrush is for lazy people who just don't like morning routines. Powered toothbrushes clean so much better compared to manual ones! This one has so much power my gums bled at the beginning. What I like: - long handle, can reach places you wouldn't reach with short toothbrush - timer that shows how long do you have to brush for - battery lasts (took it on a trip with no charger, 1 week daily use - no problem, can probably last even longer) - changing this battery is possible - bottom unscrews, no glue/adhesive/buy a new unit bs! - thank you, Braun engineers - relatively impact resistant. I dropped it 3 times on a hard tile floor, and it survived the fall. You shouldn't test it, because it depends which way it falls and on what surface, but mine is fine. - has an app. This app allows you to track what teeth exactly you have brushed, but I found it excessive, while it is a 'wow' technology for someone who are crazily obsessed with oral hygiene, I am just brushing without it now. Which one to pick? Honestly, I'd go with io7 if you don't care about bells and whistles, especially if the price is tasty. If it costs around $200, go with this one. What I don't like: - I wish manufacturer let me position toothbrush vertically in the case (make a small indentation for it to stand), instead of dismantling it every time when I travel - heads for it are kinda expensive - can be expensive, not a regular dollar store purchase TLDR; Hi-end electric toothbrush for lazy people who would want a quality teeth cleaning with some of the features that I found excessive, but otherwise built robust and does its job well.

Oral-B iO Series 6 is Solid Brush, but the iO Series 9 is in a Class of Its Own
If you're debating between the Oral-B iO Series 6 and Series 9, I get itโI was in your shoes not too long ago! As someone who travels frequently for work, I invested in both, hoping to streamline my packing routine. I thought Iโd just be dealing with a few tweaks here and there, but wow, was I wrong. First, letโs talk brushing performance. Both models use Oral-B's "magnetic iO technology," which combines oscillating-rotating and micro-vibrations for an experience that feels more like ultrasonic brushing than the older Oral-B series. After each session, Iโm left with that fresh-from-the-dentist smoothness, and yes, both models deliver equally in that department. If the actual brushing is what matters most to you, the Series 6 holds up well. But once you start looking at the extras, the Series 9 really starts to shine. Let's talk about the charging setup. The Series 6 has a basic chargerโfunctional, but nothing to write home about. In contrast, the Series 9โs charger feels like it could double as a paperweight in a windstorm; itโs sturdy and, dare I say, elegant. And for those constantly on the go, hereโs where the Series 9 really scores big: its case isnโt just a case; it's practically a mini power station! The travel case for the Series 6 feels flimsy, like something youโd get in a happy meal, but the Series 9โs case could probably survive a fall down a mountain (though Iโm not volunteering to test that). Battery life is where the Series 9 once again pulls ahead. I can usually go about two weeks without recharging with both models, but the extended battery life with the Series 9 means I could probably escape into the wilderness and brush my teeth for a month with power to spare. (Hello, camper toothbrush!) And letโs get to the tracking tech, my fellow data nerds. The Series 6 offers decent tracking with six zones, which is enough to keep tabs on each part of your mouth. But the Series 9? We're talking 16 zones of tracking, folks. This means youโre not just getting feedback on the upper and lower quadrants but the front, back, sides, andโletโs be honestโprobably nooks and crannies I didnโt even know existed. The 16-zone tracking is almost like having a dental assistant saying, โYou missed a spotโฆ and another one.โ If youโre someone who thrives on that level of accountability, the Series 9 is your holy grail. Yes, the iO Series 9 is significantly more expensive than the Series 6, and if youโre mostly after a good brush, the Series 6 will serve you well. But if you're looking for a tech-packed marvel with all the trimmingsโlike precise brushing analytics and top-notch travel accessoriesโthe Series 9 is worth the investment. So which one am I tossing into my suitcase? The Series 9. Because sometimes, your teeth deserve the VIP treatment.

Best toothbrush around
I absolutely love this toothbrush. I love the settings and having 30 second increments of cleaning each section of your mouth. It does a great job cleaning your teeth and leaving your mouth happy and clean. Itโs definitely worth the price as it lasts longer than other toothbrushes out there. Worth the buy!

Daily Brilliance: Discover the Habit-Forming Magic of the iO 9 Series
Overall Satisfaction: I give the Oral-B iO Series 9 a solid 5. This toothbrush is amazing and well worth the higher cost compared to other series. Main Purpose: I purchased this toothbrush to maintain optimal dental health and minimize the need for extensive dental procedures. Ease of Use: The toothbrush is excellent, and you can even turn on the phone to track your performance. It offers awards for meeting specific goals, some of which can be challenging to achieve. Performance: The Series 9 comes with additional sensors and a flat magnetic mount for convenient charging. While the battery drains quickly, it's not an issue for short 2-3 minute sessions. Features: The ability to visually track cleaning habits is a standout feature. With multiple modes available, I typically use sensitive, whitening, or daily settings. Durability: The toothbrush is very durable, and despite the quick battery drain, it's not problematic for regular use. Value for Money: Although expensive, the toothbrush pays for itself when considering the savings on dental bills, primarily limited to cleanings. Comparisons: Compared to other Oral-B models, the Series 9 is more advanced, with the phone app being the most significant difference. It provides detailed information about brushing habits and areas that need improvement. Pros: Maintain Oral Health: Keep your teeth clean and healthy with advanced features. App Integration: Track your brushing habits and receive feedback on the app. Charging Options: Charge the toothbrush using the magnetic mount or the convenient travel case with an attached cable. Cons: Lack of Apple Watch Compatibility: It would be more convenient if the toothbrush worked with the Apple Watch, eliminating the need to pull out the phone for information. Additional Tips: For a clean toothbrush and to avoid hardened toothpaste, use the travel charger instead of the magnetic mount. Cleaning the head after each use and washing it with water is also recommended. Recommendation: If you're looking for a top-notch toothbrush that not only ensures oral health but also provides insightful data through a dedicated app, the Oral-B iO Series 9 is worth the investment.

Great toothbrush
This toothbrush is very strong, works great, and the colored LED band to show you when you're using too much or not enough pressure is very useful. The only complaint I have so far is that the charging travel case MUST be plugged in to work. There is no battery in the case like there is with Panasonic. That was a huge disappointment to me after being so used to being able to take a fully charged Panasonic case and get a good week or two out of my toothbrush without needing to plug anything in. The other issue is my Panasonic case could charge with any USB (used a standard micro-USB port), so I could use an existing USB cable. This case uses a proprietary charger port, so I have to take an extra bulky charger with me too. It almost would take less space to just travel with the compact "normal" charger and a thin case for the brush. The case in general has a cheap feel to it. Don't buy this for the fairly poor excuse for a charging travel case. Aside from that, it's a great, if a little pricey, toothbrush.

Wow!!!
This is really expensive for a toothbrush, but I gotta say itโs worth it! I was an Oral-B user for years and I previously had a Pro4000 model. But it has since made my gums bleed and I decided to go for a toothbrush with โgentlerโ bristles so I switched a bit to Foreo Issa 3. However, that was a bad move on my part. That toothbrush worsened my plaque build up and roughened my teeth enamel, so I thought to go back to Oral-B. Iโm not from the USA so I debates buying this, but it turns out both adaptors included have built-in voltage regulators. So you can use this fine from 100-250volts from your mains, just use a matching adaptor for where you might be. This is a huge upgrade from Pro4000. The bristles for me clean better (I use it at Sensitive Mode) and the pressure indicator is a big help. Like other reviews thought itโs a bit tough to see the timer unless youโre already working your way through your upper back teeth. But this brush reminded me again why I was an Oral-B user in the first place. Really great clean, and when used with Waterpik + a great mouth wash, Iโm sure my next dental appointment will be very positive. A con though is that yes, the battery can be vastly improved. Can lose a chunk of charge with just a single use. And, no, you donโt need the app to use this. Just mind the timer.

Very bad product. Avoid the IO series. Go for the Genius or Pro Series
After using the product for about a year it started manifesting all sorts of problems. One of the problems is as other people mentioned, the issue with the battery. The unit will show 95% charge and suddenly shows 0% charge and stops. After you put in back to charge for 3 minutes, it is again at 20% and then it jumps itself to 75% etc. One other issue is while you are brushing the teeth, the unit will simply stop and start to reboot itself or stop and refuse to restart until after sometime. Still, the unit can turn on and off on itself. I though there were ghosts in my bathroom turning on and off the brush, lol. As for the software in general, I also had all sorts of issues. After I explained the issue to Oral B, their customer service is extremely good ; no complaints here. They sent me a replacement toothbrush and also sent me a box to send them the old toothbrush and they paid for shipping and everything. One of the best customer service experiences I can say. I was excited. Unfortunately, the new toothbrush IO9 they sent me started developing the exact similar problems after only 3-4 months. At least the one I sent them took me about a year before to start showing problems. I was so disappointed because this is not a cheap toothbrush. I spent about $300 for it. I googled issues with IO toothbrushes and noticed that I wasnโt the only one facing those exact issues. I was relieved it is not because of ghosts in my bathroom I was having those issues. This time i decided I wonโt waste my time calling customer support again about the second unit they sent me. I accepted the loss and decided to move on. I bought another OralB but a non IO series. The Genius series. I never had any issues with it.

Great quality vitamins and very reliable for kids
This electric toothbrush is excellent. It cleans my teeth thoroughly and reaches areas that a manual brush canโt. The vibration is strong yet gentle on the gums, making brushing comfortable. The battery lasts a long time and charges quickly. The design is ergonomic and easy to hold, and the brush heads are easy to replace. My teeth feel much cleaner and my mouth feels fresher after every use. Highly satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Brush not water proof.
Within first few days I started noticing humidity from inside the glass of the screen. Then stoped working due to water leaking to the inside of the brush handle through the bottom side. I do not know if this is a manufacturing default or a design mistake. I hope I can get one that works.

The display stopped working after 6 weeks.
Unfortunately the display stopped working after 6 weeks. Very disappointed. Fortunately the local Singapore Braun Service Centre replaced the toothbrush under warranty. However, unfortunately it was replaced with the only available handle color of Black, and not the great pink handle color that we originally purchased.
