Fabulous Quality
A couple of years ago my roommate that used the rest of my photo paper was asked to replenish it for me. It was a HP high quality paper that had the most unique backing on it and the pictures turned out nice. One of the features that I really liked about that stock is you could write on the back without the imprint showing through on the picture. Since then my roommate has moved out and I ran out of the stock. I've been trying to find it again but when I came across this Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II and read the positive reviews about it I decided to give it a try. The photo paper arrived yesterday and immediately opened it up excited to see the quality of the stock. I was very disappointed and while the stock was nice, it just wasn't like the HP stock I had earlier. With not feeling like returning the product I decided to start printing some pictures from a recent family event - and WOW! I have a Canon MP240 printer and I am truly amazed at the quality of the photos!!! I was taken back and can't help but continue to look at them with amazement! It is like the quality of a photo development place right from my own printer! The only downside despite the great quality is that writing on the back will need to be used with something that will not make indentations on the front of the picture because the stock (while nice to the feel and touch and looks) is still thin. The best way to describe this stock is that is is rich, clean, of high quality despite being somewhat thin. I would have given a 3 or 4 star rating because of it but just couldn't get myself to do it because the quality is impressive. Over all I don't regret buying it!

Pictures should be printed, not saved in your phone
Print your pictures. Photographs don't belong on the screen of your phone. They are too small to see, the colors are off, and eventually, you will lose or upgrade your phone and those images will be gone. Do you have an actual camera? That's not where pictures belong either. You take them with the camera, you show them on-line, in a frame on the wall, or in a book. Put them on a computer, and then print them. On paper. Like this paper. Canon makes top shelf photo paper. You can print pictures on it. If you took good pictures, they will look great. You can make a big photo album of your best pictures with this paper. And another album with some 4x6 paper. That's good stuff too. One word of warning. If you print your pictures on the back of the paper, they won't look right and you will get ink all over everything. I'm not saying I've loaded my printer wrong, but, printer ink takes a while to come off your hands. It's messy stuff. If you do make that mistake, lay the ruined print on a flat surface, get a few pieces of regular printer paper, and carefully place the stack on top of the ruined print. Rub, without moving the paper. Lift it up carefully and you will have a strange and very imperfect copy of your original image. Also, you will get more ink on your hands. This is annoying, but now at least you have something unusual to show for it.

Excellent photo quality paper
I recently bought a Canon Pixma MX882 printer after milking just as many years as I possibly could out of my old HP that I loved. I had a brief moment of panic when I used a piece of off brand photo paper that I had used with the HP in the new Canon and the results were basically awful. Luckily, the Canon came with a few sample sheets of the Canon photo paper plus glossy II and I immediately ran one of those through. The results were excellent. There evidently is something to be said for matching your paper brand with your printer brand. I also found the prices on the paper through amazon to be more than reasonable. It may not be photo-lab quality, but through glass in a frame I think you would be hard pressed to see the difference. The colors were vibrant and the contrast excellent. If you buy it I hope you are as happy with the results as I was and thanks for taking the time to read my review.

Professional Quality
This photo paper works great with my new Canon Pixma Printer. I bought the printer for Christmas and a coworker had the same printer for a while now and recommended I get the Canon specific paper because he felt the colors looks better on that paper then the cheaper generic options. I happened to get lucky on the price of this paper because it was listed as an add-on item for amazon. That means if you buy 25 dollars in products you can add-on this item at a cheaper cost. I bought these with the 5x7 Canon Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss. These I feel are the better deal because you get 100 prints of 4x6 compared to 20 sheets of the 5x7 but they both look great. I find that something like this is a highly consumed item that does not expire so to get around buying something that is 25 dollars that I really don't want and adding this item on you can simply purchase enough quantity of this item to equal 25 dollars or more and get the discounted price. If you are one who prints a lot of photos that is the best option because you have enough paper and you know you spent less on it. The pictures I printed turned out great. They are high quality like you get from a professional photo developer. I know some other retailers (B&H Photo) have this product for the add-on price that I bought it for that amazon currently does not have it at so look around. ***UPDATE*** I wanted to inform people that the 4x6 photo paper in my Canon Pixma printer keeps getting one corner pinched about an 1/8th of an inch when printing causing a slight bend in the photo near one edge. I am not sure if this is the printer or the paper size because the 5x7 photo paper also from Canon does not suffer this bend. I will also note that the 4x6 seems to be curled slightly right out of the box along the middle of the 6" length where the 5x7 doesn't suffer the same curl. I am not sure if this is because the 5x7 is only 20 sheets which would not curl under the weight like the 100 sheet 4x6 may but that is my only idea that the slight curl in the paper may cause the printer to grab the paper at an angle causing the bent edge. Anyways I still like this photo paper a lot and bought more directly from canon when they were running a buy 1 get 4 free sale a few months back.

Excellent quality
I used some Fuji Film brand glossy photo paper before I used these, and they turned out a bit reddish looking. When I printed using this paper, the pictures turned out with slightly less color, but very close to the original (note: I was scanning the originals first, so I assume that the minimal amount of color that was lost was done in the scanning process). That said, I got none of the reddish tinge that was there when using the Fuji brand. I imagine that my final result would be significantly closer to the original copy if I had been able to start with a digital image. I think it is wise to use the brand of photo paper designed for that specific printer; it seems to have certainly helped the color out immensely in my situation, and I was very pleased with the end result as the pictures on this paper were very nice. The paper is also quite thick and glossy. It would be hard to tell these weren't professionally printed. The price on Amazon is significantly lower than that at my local Staples, so buying these here is a no brainer.

I'm already buying more
This paper is great and seems like a bargain to me. I remember paying more for a box of 8.5"x11" generic brand paper a couple of years ago. I would expect this large format paper to be much more expensive. I think the prints look amazing and I don't think I would be able to tell the difference between this and a more premium paper. Using a Canon printer and Canon inks, the ink is dry to the touch within minutes and is dry enough to put under glass after a day (or two to be safe). Using my Epson printer with Epson inks on generic paper, the ink would still be tacky after a week. I usually waited at least a month before I'd frame the pics. A week after I received this paper, I've already made 15 prints and have 7 of them framed. The most time consuming thing now is going to be finding nice, affordable frames in stock. The Amazon packaging was excellent. The shipping box had a dinged corner, but it protected the inner package just fine.

Perfect for 6 US passport photos when using a Canon printer
My folks and I needed to apply for visas to go to China, but instead of going to the local CVS or equivalent and spend up to $10 per person for the privilege, I decided to try my hand with these. Just use any digital camera and take photos at high resolution, choose the best from the bunch, transfer it to your computer and upload it to the passport photo template at the US Dept of State, [...] When ready to print, just choose 4 x 6 as the page size and 6 copies on the same page, and voilร ! My folks were absolutely thrilled 'cos they look fantastic in these 'HOMEMADE' photos, not to mention it didn't cost them a penny! My mom also decided to try printing out one photo of some flowers from her garden that she had taken on her iPhone, and it came out looking totally professional, too. MOST highly recommended if you have a Canon printer.

Crisp, clean, vivid color prints!
Bought for my mom who LOVES to print photos of her grandkids! Seriously, she prints 10-20 prints every week! These papers fit perfectly into her HP Printer and feed nicely - one at a time. No sticking or curling like other brands can. Photos are crisp, clean and in vivid color. I've bought her other no-name brands in the past and the color just wasn't as bright and they faded over time. But her older photos printed on high quality papers like these from Canon are still bright and vivid. Even the ones that have been on display, exposed to sunlight and temperature and humidity changes look super. Can't ask for much more from a photo paper, can you? I recommend these papers to anyone who enjoys printing their digital photos at home. So much easier than sending them out to the store!

Paper is super. But seller sells at 4 times MRP.
The colour reproduction is closer to original digital image compared to other papers. The seller sells this paper at much high price. He has removed the MRP label. The canon website says the price is only 1/4th of amazon price. Thats pretty cheating by seller. But paper is worthy.
