I love Alaffia! I actually heard the founders of the company talk at a conference years ago and was blown away by how kind and thoughtful they were about sourcing their ingredients and maintaining a company that embodies it's values and morals. If you are looking for brands that you can feel good about buying from, Alaffia is it. As for this refresher spray, I only shower once a week or so and use this spray between washes to keep my hair looking and smelling great. My hair naturally goes from a curly/wavy style right after I shower to a straighter/slightly wavy style as the week goes on and this spray works great through it all.

I have tried so many brands of curl refreshers and I hated almost all of them because they left my hair crunchy and it often felt like I was spritzing glue in my hair. The one brand that I actually liked was a salon brand that is very expensive. I have been hunting for a less expensive option for a long time and I am happy to have found this one. It does a good job of refreshing my curls and my hair is not crunchy. I will definitely continue to use this.

It's kind of pricey when you get it and half of it has leaked out because the bottle was cracked.

I cannot find this product anywhere so I was over joyed when I found it It came packed in plastic wrap so it didn’t leak. I love Alaffia products but they’re sold out in the website. Great value for my money and it smells clean and amazing like always

This Formula helps to enhance the curls in one's hair. It has a good spray mist that does not apply heavily into the hair where consumer can re-work the product back into their hair and revive their curls.

I recommend this hair care I love the shampoo and conditioner. My hair is already curly but this definitely defined my curls I love it .

I’ve purchased this product twice and loved the initial results. Within 4 weeks, the product begins to smell like wet dog. I thought maybe the first bottle was a one off and tried the second since I enjoyed the results. Same thing. Very disappointing. Looking over the Amazon ingredients list, this product does not seem to contain a preservative. That’s all well good and fine if that’s your goal. I prefer to not risk staph infections and smelling like a moldy washcloth all day. I suppose you could refrigerate the product but I think the shea emulsion would end up solidifying and clogging or separating. I also don’t want to run to the kitchen to make myself presentable. Which is another thing… I have waist length, multicultural curly hair. This product elongated them and helped tame frizz. It does not impart shine and in fact probably hinders it. But it DOES give a beachy mermaid hair. Slightly textured. It contained a good balance of moisture and protein. The fact it is a water based product that is consistently growing mold and stinking thirty-45 days of purchase is unacceptable.
