Prince of Peace Ginger Chews With Lemon, 1 lb. – Candied Natural Candy

This is a one pound bag and I love the lemon flavor as well as some others! These are individually wrapped, which means you can take them with you. I had bought a smaller variety bag and fell in love with them. They definitely help with upset stomach and nausea. The texture is slightly sticky but they taste great (warning- they may stick to your teeth.) The only thing I have discovered with this last order is some of the pieces are larger than others which I find unusual. The ginger in it definitely has a slight bite but it balances with the sweetness. They will soften in the heat so they are best at room temperature. If you plan on carrying some in your purse you may want to store them in a small bag or container. These may be considered “candy” by some but for me I consider it better than antacids. If you have a sick child who is old enough to have candy without choking, this will help settle their stomach and they most likely won’t argue with you when you offer them one.

I picked these up because I love ginger, and these have quickly become a favorite. The ginger flavor is really nice—strong enough to be satisfying, but not overly spicy like some other ginger chews can be. The lemon adds a light balance that keeps them from feeling too intense. They also last longer than most chews, which I really like, and at around 15 calories each they’re an easy snack to keep on hand. Very good. I found the taste mild, no sharp ginger taste. I split my order after receiving it and keep half of the candies in the freezer.

Arrived in perfect condition, well-packaged, soft and chewy These help with nausea and coughing. Our young kids love the taste and also use them in place of hard sugary cough drops.

I first sound these inside Grocery Outlet and found them so helpful. I have several medical conditions and medications that make nausea a daily battle these have been a complete life saver. They are easy to open, good flavor (the ginger can be a bit spicy but the help with the nausea is worth it). I will say each batch I get has a different chewiness and for that they lose a star but the overall quality, texture is nice and I believe it's overall a good quality.

This is so specific, but I was on antibiotics for a bit that gave me a really obnoxious metallic taste in my mouth. The ginger in this candy is just strong enough to help with that symptom. It doesn't fix it or make it go away forever but it certainly helps, and is much better than eating raw ginger, which was an alternative solution that I did not enjoy. I hope this isn't a common problem, but if you're experiencing it too, this is a good option. Good luck!

Ginger helps settle stomachs & the lemon flavour is pleasant. Some ginger sweets are ferocious, but this is mild.

These are just as good as the small packs I buy in my local pharmacy and are much better value. They taste great and work for settling my stomach when I need them
