Uchida of America 482-C-0 Fine Point Bistro Window Chalk Marker, White (Pack of 1)

Love these and use it to mark containers of leftovers.

I love this chalk pen. I’ve probably tried half a dozen different kinds, but I always go back to this one. I usually purchase at my local Hobby Lobby, but they’ve been sold out for months so I was so happy to find it on Amazon. It’s much pricier here (I think $2.99 before a coupon at Hobby Lobby), but still worth it compared to any other I’ve tried. I love how thin and neat it writes and the paint doesn’t run everywhere. I’m not sure what people are writing on when they say it doesn’t erase- I use it on my chalkboard wall calendar and simply use glass cleaner and a rag to redo it once a month. I never have trouble getting it completely off. Great pen.

At first I thought that the marker didn't work, but when I tried it again, following the directions from a another seller's product, I was able to get the marker flowing. I had to shake it several times, then push in the tip a few times, then hold it on the label and push it in again until the ink flowed. I used it to write on 2" round labels for jars and the writing came out bright and sharp and clear. I took away one star because there are no directions for use on the marker or on the packaging. But a good product that does exactly what I need it to do.

Pro: You can temporarily write on labels, wash them and reuse. I even put labels on top of small containers when fixing small batches of wonton filling, empanada filling etc. and when the container is empty wash all in the dishwasher and use the marker to write again on that labels. I use them when fermenting wines to know the sugar levels and then erase it all when done. Great for family message boards, check if compatible with the surface you will use -test in a no visible area-, I'm not sure if it can be easily removed from all materials. I wash the labels with dish soap and a sponge! Con: the marker is not really a marker, it is chalk so it smudges if touching accidentally, anyway you can wash the label, dry and write again.

Writes really nice on the glass desk top. I purchased white because my desk top is black. I really do like this one. Will continue to purchase as they run out. It glides on nicely. Would highly recommend this item.

Works fine .. still a bit thick for a fine point but does the job.

Pros: Perfect size for writing on chalkboard labels. Writes nice & clean. Cons: Even after less than 24 hours, when you wipe it off with a damp cloth there is a shadow of previous writing. If you intend to reuse labels or whatever, you will have a pretty messy looking surface before long. I have used a different brand with a point that was too wide for labels & even after two weeks, it wiped completely away with no sign of previous writing. I will continue my search.

Really happy with this marker. Previously brought a different one but did not write fine enough for the job I had in mind. I have used it for food labels on jars in the cupboard and they look great. They easily wipe clean too

Soy profesor y mi madre también lo es, y debemos reconocer que el producto es INCREÍBLE. Por cuestiones de alergia (en ojos y vías respiratorias) nos veíamos impedidos de usar con libertad pizarrones de gis en nuestras escuelas (distintas, por cierto), pero con este plumón con líquido de gis hemos podido volver a usar con mayor facilidad el pizarrón sin temor a las alergias. El color es intenso y se puede usar fácilmente en superficies lisas (incluido vidrio). Borrar la tinta seca no es tan sencillo, pero se puede usar un paño de microfibra levemente húmedo. Es una herramienta 100% recomendable para profesores, más si han sufrido de alergias por uso del gis. Lo repito: el plumón usa una tinta base agua de gis excelente, de origen japonés. Si se seca la tinta puedes quitar la punta con un broche mariposa (con cuidado) y dejar por un par de horas la punta en agua. La tinta se diluirá y podrás reinsentar la punta en el barril de tinta para seguirlo usando. Simplemente espléndido.

Great pen - worth waiting for

Lo adquirí para usar con un pizarrón tipo bistro que tengo y funcionó perfecto. Escribe muy bien, con bastante contraste, y se borra fácilmente con un trapo húmedo. Veo muchas quejas de que si lo tocas se borra, pero pues no sé quién o para qué consideraría que poder manosear el texto escrito en un pizarrón sin que se borre o corra es una característica importantísima para los pizarrones. Cada quién.
