The product is exactly as described. Vacuum sealed. I like the color change. Slight variation in bead size but ok for my use.

Not that you would have, but I figured I should get that out of the way.This stuff is great at keeping moisture down inside any sort of container, be it a freezer, refrigerator, or room-temperature storage box.Seal a packet of this stuff in there (I have used coffee filters for holding the beads, folded and stapled together.) with whatever it is you're storing, and it'll be bone dry for weeks.Gel beads gone pink? Just stick it in the microwave on a paper plate until it's blue again, repack and re-use!Make sure to use enough beads for your container size. You may want to divide up the total amount of beads into smaller containers for better air flow and exposure, and thus better moisture absorption.

The beads are not all spheres and some are like prices of broken spheres. Works well, used in a Filament dry box and keeps the 10 gallon air right container at 10% humidity which is great for filament. The color transition Works great and is easily noticeable, I have heard that the silica gel uses cobalt chloride which is toxic so I guess know ahead of time. I believe as long as you don’t eat it and agitate it slowing particulars to go in your lungs it’ll be fine.

Brilliant, I use it for 3d printer filament drying, I had a spool of PVA filament that is extremely hygroscopic and went soft and unusable, I had it in a bag with like 15 of the cheap desiccant sachets with no change. I poured a couple ounces of this stuff in there and after a few hours it was turning pink and the filament was firming up.It's an extremely aggressive desiccant, to the point where if you even pick up a pellet with your fingers it dries your skin out and sticks, so be careful handling it, but properly handled it'll dehydrate the juice out of anything you put it near, I use muslin bags to create dessicant packs.

Has very effectively kept the humidity low in an enclosed area. Color indication makes it easy to know when to remove and heat - I use my microwave , about 4-5 minutes at 30% power for about 6 oz [weight] of silica gel. YMMV of course.

Great! I use in my Air Compressors driers both at the compressor and right before my paint gun. No complaints at all
