Great formula, affordable and easy to mix. Make sure to serve it when it's between 100 and 105 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure the babies don't get sour crop. Pro tip to avoid clumps: get an electric frother and use it to blend the formula perfectly every single time, even thicker formula will turn into a beautiful even consistency with a frother.

I have previously used a different brand of formula for years(exact), but noticed that my babies always seemed to get less plump after pulling them from the nest, not unhealthy just less fatty, this spring I tried four brands of formula with 4 chicks all the same age and this formula kept them the most plump and healthy. Far different than the brand I used prior. It doesn’t smell like a cherry scented car air freshener, it does not clump up when mixed with water, the chicks like it, and it is reasonably priced.

I've got a young hen with scissor beak (cross beak) and had been struggling to get her to eat. This bird food has been a life saver (literally). I mix with water to make little torpedoes and place them on her lower beak so she can get them down her throat. Easy to use and keeps birds alive.

I find this stuff easy to mix, and it seems to go further then other formula I have bought. But most importantly, it's helping raise strong healthy birds. I'm pleased with it. I got an amazing deal, and this item deserves more then 5 stars. It has an ok smell, and my birds seem to enjoy it, and digest this formula very well. I wanted to give an update on this, since I used if for my newest clutch of baby green cheek conures and quaker. I truly believe this bird formula helps with having chubbier babies. My clutch before this was pretty thin and they were on Kaytee Exact, and this time around using Tropican, I feel the extra weight on them. My Quakers usually turn out to be 70 or 80 grams at 4 weeks... well this last baby quaker (only 1 born in clutch) just turned 4 weeks and he is weighing in at 126 grams. That's a huge difference, and really makes me believe this formula is better for my birds.

I use this for ill chickens, crop feeding them with it as a liquid (taught how by a vet) and making little balls of it to tempt them into eating. It cleans up easily, it smells neutral, the chickens enjoy the taste, it's fantastic and packed with calories and vitamins. A relief to have found it.

At the price I pay from the suppliers this is pretty close and with next day delivery so Amazon wins. Birds thrive of it and we use a lot so the big bag is better value and convenience for me. As described exactly. Baby parrots love it
