Good quality
Most people really don't need this, but I purchased it due to some vision issues that are coming on as I get older. Being able to integrate images from both eyes can be helpful in improving apparent contrast and reducing eyestrain in older folks. However, buying this also means having to invest in an extra set of eyepieces, so this is a luxury and not a necessity. I suppose being a luxury could be said about having a telescope system in the first place! The bottom line is that this will not make a tremendous difference for most people, but it will make a difference for those people who feel uncomfortable or limited with monocular viewing. Having been an observer most of my life, I knew the time had come to buy this. The build quality is very good and I have no complaints. Be aware that you will have to rebalance your telescope when you use this, so while that is not a big deal, it does need to be done. Also this viewer can get into the way of your mount, so you may need to remove it before using a computer controlled slewing system. Otherwise it could possibly smack into your mount, which would not be a good thing.

Easy to use and amazing views
I received them today and tried them first in the Celestron 102GT a 1000 mm focal length refractor, no joy, (could not get enough travel from the focuser.)Then I tried them in the Celestron 127SLT maksutov cassegrain moved the focuser a turn and the Orion nebulae about popped into focus, a slight turn on left eye and image was crystal clear.I was surprised at how fast I was able to focus. Seriously I will never use my scope without it again. The images appear to be brighter through the binoviewer than a single eyepiece without the binoViewer. The Eyepieces I was using were cheap but amazing, SVBONY 23mm 12.00 each. Amazing views, razor sharp images. This binoviewer and svbony eyepieces amazing budget combination.

Very sturdy and well protected
I got this earlier than expected, so I'm really happy. I can't wait to use this, but I am waiting for an additional eyepiece to put into it. Please be aware that if you buy this attachment, you do need two 1.25" eyepieces to put into them. I knew this ahead of time and only needed to order one, as I already had one. Just make sure the eyepieces are the same amount of millimeters; mine are both 26mm.

Not bad with a great IPD range but unfortunately the rubber started peeling off after 2 weeks
So I'm not sure it'll last the rigor of daily use for yearsAlso it is not well collimmated, which translate in image not merging.I was told that these are of random quality so out of 4 pairs you'll get a very good one.

images arent as bright as more expensive brands - not great for Deep Sky objects.
Works OK on the moon and brighter DSOs, but you lose contrast on all but the brightest ones.Best for planets.

I debated getting this, since it meant I would ...
I debated getting this, since it meant I would need to buy another of each of my eye pieces, and I was unsure if I wanted that kind of investment. It is worth every penny to lessen the amount of eye strain. I now find myself staring through my scope for hours instead of minutes. Instead of buying a ton of new eye pieces, I got more Barlow lenses, to go with two pairs of 32mm and 24mm, giving me a lot of very usable options.

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR THE MONEY
YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS BINOVIEWER FOR THE PRICE YOU PAY.I HAVE USED THIS NUMEROUS TIMES NOW SINCE PURCHASED AND THE VIEWS ARE PHENOMENAL. I CHECKED OUT MANY BINOVIEWERS BEFORE PURCHASING THIS ONE AND COULD NOT BEAT THE PRICE AND NOW AM VERY SATISFIED WITH MY DECISION.FRIENDS ARE ALSO AMAZED WITH THE QUALITY AND EASE OF ITS USE.

WOW ! This has hooked me on using BOTH eyes to view with !
I can describe the views of the moon with only one word: WOW! I used two Celestron 25mm eyepieces and I felt like I was hovering over the moon! Crisp, sharp! Took only a few moments to get it adjusted with my Celestron NexStar 8iSE scope and I am HOOKED on viewing with BOTH eyes! Comes with a nice case, too. I can't wait to try it out on the Orion Nebula come this fall. Highly recommend for all ages but especially for older eyes. I also used it on my Celestron NexStar 4SE with excellent results!

Fantastic Product
Bought this for use with my Celestron Nexstar 6 telescope. Very easy to set up and use. Definitely improves the image you see - the moon looked like I was viewing it in 3D - absolutely fantastic.

Can not be used on a reflector or refractor without other optical devices
This bino viewer can only be used out of the box on a SCT or MAK, where the mirror moves, as the focal length of this viewer adds approx 90mm of extra length to the focal plane. The average focuser of a reflector or refractor is nominally 50mm and you will need to shorten the focal length using other optical devices to achieve this.As mentioned by another buyer, only 1 in 4 get a well made device. I have purchased 2x Svbony 15mm eyepieces and when inserted, locked & focused, the collimation give a squint image. By twisting one eyepiece up & the other down, then the image comes into alignment. This is poor QA and Celestron need to be taken to task.It is not worth the effort returning these as you still stand a chance of getting the other three defective viewers. It is better to turf these in the bin and purchase a better quality product.
