Cool Hand 1911 Wood Grips, Grips Gold Screws Included, Full Size (Government/Commander), Checker Diamond Cut or w/Patriotic US Logo or Honey Comb Texture, Ambi Safety Cut

Second set of grips from cool hand and they've been great. Good quality and fit perfect, even with rock island's weird ambi safety that usually needs a cutout on the right side grip. The checkering is nice and rough to promote good grip and the included grip screws look very nice as well. The wood grain on these looks gorgeous, and the pearloid material is bonded to the wood in its entirety, so if you're like me and needed to Dremel out some material to make room for a slip on mag well it will still be sturdy. The only complaint I have is that there are still machining lines in the wood and pearloid that could have been sanded out but unless you're really looking at them you don't really notice. All in all, well worth the price.

These handles I bought for my Colt 1911 and they fit great and look awesome. I would highly recommednthese to anyone looking for quality handles for your Pew pew. Installation was a breeze, I had a harder time removing the old ones than I did installing the new ones! Highly recommend these!

Really nice. Checkering is done well, and the wood itself is very nice. Overall finishing is well done. Excellent classic grips. The brass screws look nice as well. I’d order these again in a second.

Great quality seeming product. Wood feels nice. The gold Screws are a great tasteful touch! They fit my Rock island without any modification even with ambi safety’s. The only thing I noticed is that the screw head counter sink was not perfect. But they did tighten up without damage. The holes to line up with the pegs on the frame fit perfectly. Nice and smooth, slim but also still providing nice grip!!.

Despite the numerous reviews about people receiving the incorrect color of grip, or receiving two of the same grip side, I took a chance and ordered these in Brown. Instead of brown, I received a set in Rosewood. While the grips are beautiful, it's not the color I was going for, and the left-side grip didn't fit properly (it would have to be filed down). Thankfully Amazon has a generous return policy and I found dark walnut M1911 grips through another seller. Nevertheless I'm giving this 4 stars as they are good quality grips, if you are fortunate enough to get the color you order and don't mind filing them to fit.
