Review: 10/10 here in dubai out of the laptops I've had this is the best by far, good build quality no flaws - I ordered this laptop for gaming and school work the amount of effort acer put into this laptop is amazing, the temps are literally the coldest on the market I'm using the auto fan preset and I get a solid 120fps on minecraft rtx with turbo I can achieve 160fps but the fan is louder then an airplane, the screen had no backblight bleed and I measured the panels response time with overdrive I managed to achieve 2.47ms on average with 300hz running on gpu mode aka g sync, the battery life on this unit is amazing with optimus running on 60hz at 60% brightness, I recently got it today so I'm not done testing but it's still 74% by just browsing on chrome watching things on youtube (fortnite montages) and (anime) also, I went on microsoft teams did some stuff and also reddit, I don't know why but the colors were higher then normal the brightness I measured was 367 nits which is good for a gaming laptop 101% srgb with 81% adobergb and 83% p3 with a contrast ratio of 1250:1. Overall if your going for any gaming laptop this is the thing to go one consequence is the wrist wrest space see the video for yourself, if you own any razer gaming mice you will know this is small, personally I would find this a benefit since I can't tuck my chair under my table so I'm not sitting too far away from the laptop Review: Lots of bang for the buck in a nice package! - Acer went all out on the Predator. Nice surprise to see that they used DDR4-3200 (albeit not the lowest latency DIMMs) and a nice fast m.2 NVME drive. High performance CPU and GPU that fit in a nice thin laptop was a nice surprise considering heat dissipation that is required. Very happy with this laptop I bought for my daughter starting College needing something more than her existing 7yo 14-inch Alienware, 4th gen Core i5, GTX-760 - for 3D modeling and graphics design. It does her school work great such as loading and using Maya, and her game playing experience is excellent, she's able to jack the graphics settings way up to pretty much Max on all her games! Excellent performance! Upgrading the memory to low-latency 32 GB - RAM Ripjaw 2x16GB 3200 and adding an extra SSD - Samsung 1TB 970 EVO Plus was a little work. This is not the easiest laptop to change/add RAM or SSD, great care has to be taken. My only gripe would be the difficulty most people may have wanting to upgrade without damaging connectors and such. There are good videos on YouTube how to disassemble this laptop to access those components which are on the other side of the system board (under keyboard).

Broke twice with same issue and Acer Support engages in borderline Fraud
UPDATE 2/6/23: TLDR: ALWAYS document your packaging and send off process with pictures and videos to have proof you sent off an undamaged, properly packaged unit! Will save you some headache. After talking with Acer Corporate Care Support, I had them investigate the state of the package but since they had thrown it away, they couldn't file claim and agreed to repair my laptop a second time, free of charge. I've also learned that apparently in my first repair case, the laptop also arrived with drop damage but was repaired 'as a courtesy' while never informing me of said drop damage. In both cases I've packaged the laptop safely and sent it without any external or superficial damage and in both cases Acer says they've received it with significant drop/fall damage, which I find extremely weird. I appreciate Acer coming through and repairing it free of charge though, that is good customer service in the end. TLDR: Laptop broke twice with the same issue, Acer repaired once and on second issue claims fall/drop damage that wasn't there when I packed it and sent it in. Refuses repair. I liked this laptop when I got it. It was sleek, well built, ran perfectly well and had good performance on games. It did run fairly hot and the 'turbo' option makes your fans scream to a degree I'm not sure anyone would ever wanna use it. That said, about 8 months after I got it, in the middle of gaming, with plenty of ventilation, no modifications to the unit at all, it just completely shut off, went dead. Literally no reaction to anything, just a complete brick. Fine I said, it's in warranty, let's send it in. They analyzed and repaired it, though it took me almost 3 weeks to get it back. Though they didn't elaborate on the issue, they apparently replaced multiple major components, including LCD and mainboard, which seems insane for a new bought unit that nothing had happened to. Anyway, I kept using the laptop the same way I did before. Standing on a ventilation pad, nothing to obstruct the airflow but guess what, only about a month later, in the middle of gaming, the entire laptop shuts down AGAIN, in the exact same way as before. No lights, no charge, completely dead, a total brick. I think to myself, wow, they repaired this thing by replacing MULTIPLE components and it didn't take even a month for it to fail again in the exact same way? Amazing. But, I'm still in warranty, so I send the unit back in as before. I figure, whatever they're doing there, let them do it again. This time though I see they 'suspended repair' and I start a chat asking what's going on. Chat person tells me they're waiting for replacement parts because of the damage but I don't need to do anything. Alright, I think, let's wait. A week after, Acer contacts me, tells me the damage is so bad that it can't be economically repaired but now ALSO claims it's not covered by their warranty and offers me the same model for about $1,600 with a 90 day warranty. Lol. Now I think, what are you talking about? Not covered by warranty? So I call them and they explain to me technicians found extensive fall/drop damage on a corner of the unit, which isn't covered. They assure me that the outside of the package was fine and it was properly packed. I KNOW I packed a physically intact and superficially undamaged laptop. A laptop that had the exact same issue as before, shutting down. Acer then sends me pictures showing the unit with significant corner damage that looks like someone stepped on it or slammed the corner of it against something hard. To recap, I packaged a fully, externally intact and undamaged unit in Acer's own box and packaging material (from the first return) and Acer now claims there's external damage but also claims the box was undamaged. I'm sorry but where did this supposed damage suddenly come from? How absolutely convenient for Acer that they don't have to repair it now (again). They're essentially saying now, you can buy another unit, for more than you originally bought the new one, with a 90 day warranty (not even 1 year) or have the laptop sent back with even more damage than it had originally. This sounds like fraud to me. I didn't damage it, the package looks undamaged, so who's to tell me that Acer didn't drop it at their facility and thought 'whoops, let's just blame it on the costumer' ?

Very fast delivery , came 2 days after ordering even if it said that i should wait for 10 days. Battery life when gaming is shorter but as expected when you are using this laptop for gaming you should be connected to charger all the time to boost your fps anyway, so no complaints. Good experience so far.
