I got this for my sons gaming computer and he has gave it hell. It turns on and lights up no problem. He does not have any feed back and you can hear the quietest of sounds in the back ground. It is very durable and has alot of metal built into it. I thought it would be all plastic but it is not. Now it will not play sound like a speaker. You can only use it to talk into. It is well worth the money.

Previous USB and audio input devices produced an echo in video calls. With this device there is no echo, which is ideal for headphone-free video calls. LEDs a nice touch, but I don't really use them. PROS: Good audio, no echo, easy to mute without having to search a mouse click. Nice weight and design. Ominidirectional or Cardoid mode selections a plus. CONS: It would be nice to have an audio jack output instead of solely USB. But I guess USB is necessary for power and directional switching.

This is one of three microphones that I have thoroughly tested and over that period of running them through their paces, I think have developed a good list of wants that I would see in a microphone, such as quality, modes and other features. The Cyber Acoustics premium USB condenser microphone, for me has come the closest to meeting all of these criteria. I really like that this microphone has the ability to go between cardioid (directional) and omnidirectional with the press of a button (on the rear). It also has a very visible mute button front and center. I was surprised at how many mics on the market do not have this feature, let alone this prominent. The base and the microphone have a nice heavyweight quality feel to them. The craftsmanship of the hardware is excellent. The outside feature piece de resistance is definitely the LED surround light bar. You can set it to fade, solid, multiple colors, along with intensity. The LEDs can also be turned off. Very cool. Set up on a WIndows 10 PC was as simple as plug and play. That's it! You may need to select it as your active microphone, although Windows did this for me automatically. My AV application recognized the microphone right away. Now to the quality of the Cyber Acoustics condenser microphone. It does a really good job of dampening and muting background noise, which is a must for me. I like that real studio sound booth quality in my dubs and podcasts. The Cyber Acoustics does a great job of this but the trade off is that you need to be quite close to the microphone to be heard or recorded in a full bodied soundbyte. Something, I myself, needed to get used to. It can also be used for group discussions or chat sessions in omni-directional mode. The dual mode was a plus for me because I use both at times and now only need one microphone to accomplish that. The swivel base is removable and with the accompanied adapter the microphone can be mounted to a standard threaded boom arm. Another nice feature to have is this ability to choose. I use it on its base currently, but I do have a microphone boom arm that I will eventually set up and use the mic on. Overall, I am quite pleased with what I can do with this microphone and also love the styling. including the base. The audio quality is exceptional and the Cyber Acoustics mic does a great job of creating that instudio sound that I have been seeking!

This Cyber Acoustics Premium USB Condenser Microphone is a good option for starting out in streaming or podcasting. This a good afforable mic option. It sounds nice and clear and has 2 different recording modes. In cardiod mode it doesn't picks up noises behind the mic which makes it great for streaming or podcasting and the omnidirectional mode picks up noise in all directions so it's good if you have multiplepeople talking around the mic. It comes with a desk stand but you can also mount it to a boom so you have multiple mounting options not just the stand. Set up is easy and you don't need an additional audio interface to make it work. It's simply a usb plug and play mic. I'm not a fan of the led lights as it looks tacky in opinion but not a big deal. Overall, I'm complete happy with this mic. It's simple to setup, sounds good, and I like that it's got dual recording modes.

So let's start this by saying, I've had a blue yeti and razer mic almost exactly like this one, but both of those cost well over $100, and let me say this is the best bang for your buck! With the dual microphone patterns, you get great recording, gaming in discord and great full room pickup with the omnidirectional mic pattern. My friends have said that this mic sounds great in discord as well! Pros - Sound quality is as good as high tier brands, with the lower price tag. - mic feels really nice, materials actually feel better than my razer. Full metal. - sensitivity dial to set how hot you want the mic, also can run your headphones through the integrated 3.5mm jack - rgb effects are great, colors are bright. - all buttons are on mic which makes light changes, mic type, mute etc all in arms reach. - USB powered which eliminate extra 3.5mm cable. - included boom adapter. Cons - none at the moment! Overall, if you're in the market to upgrade your mic game, then this is the one for you! Especially if you want better streaming, gaming quality!

This mic feels very robust at 1.5 lbs. The word I'm seeing in other reviews is "low budget." I guess these are professionals. If you're not a professional, I would imagine an $80 price tag is pretty high considering all the mics you can choose from below $30. If you just want to dabble and just starting off, you will be very happy with this mic. Sound quality and clarity is terrific. You get a lot with this mic, including the ability to choose between cardiod or omnidirectional. It also has an integrated 3.5mm jack for your headphone, volume and color light controls, and the swivel stand is so versatile. Go for it!

Excellent build and mic quality. Heavy weight. Solid on desk stand that comes with it and works well on a desk so no need to buy an arm. Video call clients like the sound over other mics eg headsets and laptop mics. Used it since before Christmas. Mic volume works. Switching between cardiod (front facing mic) for chatting and Omnidirectional for transcribing all voices, works well if you have loudspeaker behind the mic and equal distance both sides between you and the speaker. Will appear as a sound out device (because you can connect a headphone or speaker to it but don't have to) so you need to reselect speakers after plugging it in. Lights are a gimmick but you can switch it off. No echo rep reported in use. Love it. Great value too

The microphone looks great have not used it yet . The only thing was it was rattling around in the box loose. The box was a bit damaged. It came quickly and was a good price.

Sturdy and works well, easy to set up.

better than the mic on my pc camera. the stand is good and weighty but ive fitted on a flex arm from temu lookin and sounding good
