2 weeks in and a super-stinky water butt sitting under a sycamore tree in the sun that smells of home-brew is definitely improving. Scum on top has gone and the smell is much less strong. Unlikely I’ll remember to give it a weekly dose, but happy with the results so far!Watered plants seem happy.

The tablets dissolve quickly, and I like the idea of there being no chemicals since I use my water butts to water seedlings. So far the water has kept nice and clear and odour-free so they seem to be doing the job. Without treatment the water can begin to get smelly.

So I followed the instructions exactly - 1st dose 2 pills - it has now been 5 days and there has been no change whatsoever. However, I will update this review if things change after another treatment in a couple of days.For info, I got these to use in a 100L water butt purchased new from Aldi. I can't attach it to my downpipe as the downpipe is rectangular, so I've been filling it with grey water (remnants of a boiled kettle plus the cold water from the shower before it runs hot). The water butt was at approx 70 to 80 litres full, and had been for no more than 2 weeks when it started to really smell. As I bought it from new, I didn't bleach it out first, so I may need to empty it, bleach it, and start filling it over.However, as things stand, these pills have not had any effect whatsoever, so I cannot give them anything but a 1 star.

I was surprised when the product arrived as the tablets inside are surprisingly small, the size of a 5 pence piece. However, despite their size they are extremely easy to use and incredibly strong. It cleared the green, foul smelling water in my water butt and has kept it clear since. They also come in a comparable packet which I have never seen before and really like the idea of! All in all, a great product!

Difficult to write a product review on tablets for the water butt. I have put them in the water butt and we will see if this improves the water quality and odour. They seem very easy and straight forward. Time will tell I give it five stars for delivery ease of use and hope that in time the odour is improved. Cant say yet as only put them in yesterday.

Amazing tablets. My water butt was murky looking & starting to smell pretty bad but after popping in 2 of these tablets the water was crystal clear and the smell disappeared all within a couple of hrs. Also has the added bonus of adding some feed to your water. Can't rate these highly enough.

Changed my water butt a few weeks back and been using Envii Water Butt Klear - Organic Water Butt Treatment every week since. the last butt smelled so bad we had to get rid of it, but with these tablets we have had no problems, the feed aspect certainly seems to work too, the flowers are really perky after a watering. Recommended so far no issues to report.

I’ve never had to use anything in the past as at my previous house I had 3 water butts with no smell , I have moved to a different property I only have 1 water but and it stunk to high heaven and that was after cleaning it out , so I’ve started to use these tablets , I now don’t have a smell so for me they work , I have also started to use a leaf catcher so that may be helping as well .... I would recommend these tablets if you have a smelly water butt
