They work great, but a few tips are needed for successful install.
I installed these valve cover gaskets on my 5.3 2007 suburban. Getting to the valve covers wasn't too hard (used You Tube). The tricky part that slowed me way down was getting the gaskets to stay in the cover as I placed them back on the engine. I found that some high temp grease or petroleum jelly applied to the underside of the gasket helped it to stick to the valve cover and not fall out during install. It's worked great with no leaks since reinstalling. The other tip I wished I knew beforehand was that these gaskets fit, but are a little tight (small). I found that taking a few seconds to stretch them out helped them to fit much easier so one end didn't pop out of the groove when pushing the opposite side in. For the second gasket, I just left it stretched over a cardboard box as I removed the valve cover and it didn't give me any trouble.

Don't waste your time!!
Do not buy this p o s. I bought this for an 02 Chevy, Silverado 5.3 and the grommets for the bolts in the valve cover are a poor fit, and the valve cover gasket itself has to be stretched to even come close to fitting in the groove. Bypass this product and get the FEL-PRO gaskets instead. they are a perfect fit.

Hopefully it does the job. BUT…….
The bolt grommets are not mad from a very good rubber. 2 of them ripped even with putting some lube on them. The gaskets themselves are made a little to small as you have to lightly stretch them making them come off around the corners. Also I was given 2 of the same (passenger side) so I had to force the curves the other way installing it on the driver side. I would recommend sticking with Fel-pro brand as they are a better quality.
