I'm walking on uneven surfaces most of the day, and it has already saved me re-rolling my ankle numerous times.Perhaps the best part is the lack of elastic bands. Instead of compressing, it works with the wall of your shoe to brace the ankle, effectively working in tandem with the footwear.I wear it daily, and to showing signs of wear and tear, but I knew it would for what I paid. I expect it might only last a year or so, at most, but a new ankle brace is a lot cheaper than a new ankle.

Good brace for basketball

Returned this item. Not very supportive. Does not replace a good tape job. Maybe it would feel a little more supportive if we had a smaller size, but other than putting bulk around your ankle, it will not prevent a roll over. The stats are very flimsy!! I guess I was expecting a more solid type stay!?! I usually have great luck with the McDavid brand!
