These arms are in use on two cupboard doors that lift upwards. Both the old ones had been failing for some time and become a pain. These were easy to install and work perfectly. Great to actually be able to use those cupboards again. Note: the screw fixings aren't in the exact same spots, so I did have to screw one more hole into the inside of the carcass (my kitchen is cheap and I don't care, but if you have a fancy kitchen you might need to consider where the holes are).

These are very strong and one is sufficient for a wooden box lid, of 1m by 0.5m, 20mm thick. You won’t be able to push this in by hand, so it’s quite difficult to offer it up and see where it will sit as it opens and closes, a diagram on the best mounting angle would have been nice. Easy to install in as much as it’s just a couple of screws, but you mind find yourself remounting it to get a better angle, so if your project is precious, try a mock up first.

Worked fine on the lid of an 850x500mm pine toy box, one would have sufficed but used two for safety.Slight criticism would be the brackets which are a bit on the flimsy side. Overall good value and would buy again.

I have no idea how these are supposed to work, I bought them as soft close struts, but they seem to need much more than 44lbs to close them,.

Unfortunately, while the product is fine, it wasn’t quite the right product for my use. My error and that’s why they now sit in the loft!

They look good quality, & sturdy enough to do the job. Nice price too.

great for cabinets

Stopped working after 2weeks. Now doesn't hold the lid up or soft close.
