I recently purchased this gear storage hammock, and I used it during a backpacking trip - and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. Held me up fine. im about 160 pounds and could kinda swing in it a too and it feels like it could handle more, though for holding people the paracord could hurt a tree but i saw no damage in my use. either way its a lightweight convenient seat if you got trees and the hardware makes setup quick. I tried using it to suspend my bag under my hammock but i didn't hang my main hammock high enough for the gear hammock to clear the ground that was my fault but you are able to reach down through a bottom entry hammock to access your gear when hung right.

Does the job but still playing with it, have to rig my hammock higher because it was dragging on the ground and also compressing my under quilt.

I was totally skeptical about the mini-hammy. Just one trip with this thing and i'm a total believer. No more hanging a bunch of stuff around. Just put this up and chuck all your bits and bobs in this thing. It's an excellent accessory. Takes up zero space - because you can squash it down to nothing - and it weights next to nothing. 10/10 recommend. I guess you stuff your small child in here - but this thing isnt made for full size adults. Not at all. I'm 210bls of monster, and I would snap this thing in half if I sat in it. Just a FYI.

Such a simple product, and honestly might be a little overpriced for what it is, but it’s a great addition to my hammock setup and I don’t think I will ever be able to camp without it from now on. Perfect for keeping my gear off the ground and within reach but still out of the way. I like the style of tensioners they included as well.

Initially purchased for my FurBaby to swing under me while camping. Let’s just say he wasn’t a fan. I then utilized this as a pack cover and gear sling instead. Arrived on time. Love the multifunctional design and how small it packs down. Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing another for my FurBaby’s pop up camping tent as a rain fly.

I am impressed with the products Onewind puts out. Their silnylon rain poncho is amazing, small, and light. This gear hammock/pet hammock/hammock chair is simple, light, and affordable. I now have a dozen hammocks of various sizes, fabrics, and uses. This is perfect as a hammock chair that will easily fit in a fanny pack along with the rain poncho/tarp. For an afternoon hike, or a short-term emergency, these two items can really pack light and yet provide a lot of utility. This hammock is somewhat delicate as a hammock chair, but definitely holds the weight. And the price is just right. I have spent nights sleeping in hammock chairs (hint; make the lay of the hammock so the foot end lets you rest your feet on the ground; otherwise you get compression behind the legs). It is comfortable, safe, and even pleasant in the right conditions.

I’ve found this to be both useful and useless at the same time. Useful because I hate leaving stuff on the forest floor, useless because all sorts of fauna can get into it with ease. I have to be careful to keep my camp food and cookware out of it. Otherwise, I intend to use it to store a quilt. Not an underquilt, but that’s how I’ll use it by putting a regular quilt in it and just snugging it all up to the hammock.

Does what it says and more, this will hold well above a 70l back pack, iv used this with a 120l chock full and other items and a camping chair too, no give in the fabric under the weight either! The locking clips are good for quick set up and adjustment. The size is more than generous. 100% value for money

Gear Hammock Funktioniert einwandfrei - tagsüber packe ich da meinen Topquilt rein und wenn ich abends den rausziehen möchte brauche ich nicht erst aufstehen. An dem Gear Hammock ist alles angebracht, um ihn problemlos an der bestehenden Aufhängung anzubringen. Somit ist dies bereits einfach erledigt mit der Bestellung.
