These are some great gloves. I don't just use them in the kitchen -- I also use them for self care! My hands are a dry, crusty and cracking mess. I feign at the thought of having to shake someone's hand (only positive of the current pandemic is no hand shaking!). I use a mix of coconut oil, olive oil, and grape seed oil on my hands and then wrap them in plastic wrap. Once wrapped, I place my hands in the oven mitts and sleep in them. Game changer for when I have to shake hands again !

I LOVE these oven mitts and potholders. My husband bought them for me as a gift since the ones we had were from our wedding (30 years ago). They are very thick and heat resistant as well as have grip-sections on them. Awesome!

These claim heat resistance up to 520°F, which should mean you can use these to safely remove a pan from a 375°F oven. Better not hold the pan long. I have thick cotton heat pads I have used for years, and these were to replace my old pads. Big mistake - good think I didn't throw out the old ones because I can still safely use them, and these will be returned. I have trouble believing the high percentage of 5-star ratings are legitimate real ratings - how could anyone call these "thick," let alone as many "reviewers" do for these (not to mention three supposedly different reviewed on three consecutive days, each with identical wording?).
