Belle Poque Women's 50s Petticoat Skirts Tutu Crinoline Underskirts Knee Length

It's so cute and fits great but the smell is overwhelming. I hung it in my garage to air it out and it made my whole garage stink. I finally washed it twice and that got rid of the smell. I air dried it and it fluffed up nicely. I bought it to use with a costume. Really cute!

Very well-made, very beautiful and full, just too full at the top of the slip petticoat if you only fullness is at the bottom, this is not the slip to buy otherwise it’s beautiful. Has a ribbon across the bottom of the netting so if it shows under your dress, it looks like it belongs to the dress.

So the petticoat is a great length, great shape, the material isn't costumey like some of these other ones BUT it smells so bad. Like fish.

The other reviews are correct as this had an absolutely overwhelming smell of fish. I left it outside for four days to air out, laundered, and then it was okay. It does give nice volume, and is nice length, as well. If it's something you are planning to purchase and use right away, beware of the fish smell!

love this petticoat! i bought a different one initially, but ended up returning it and getting this one, which i love. it was just what i hoped for.why this one stands out for me:accurate sizing. a medium fit perfectly for my 30" waist.lightly stretched, but not so much that it cut me in half and altered my shape under the dress.ribbon trim along all bottom layers. perfect for letting it peek out of from underneath the hem of your garment, if so desired.3 layers and a liner. the liner feels soft against the skin, and is amply long. the innermost crinoline layer is finer mesh and soft, while the two outer layers are stiffer for structure.simple stretch/gathered waistband. a lot of petticoats have a long stretchy portion at the top before the crinoline starts. this might work well for some women to provide a little shaping, but unfortunately it always gives me a bit of a muffin top, and i dont like how it makes the crinoline start lower if you wear the waistband low. this petticoat is simply attached to a satiny-covered elastic waistband. you can wear it wherever the waist of your garment starts for immediate poof.first photo without, second photo with, to illustrate the poof factor. pardon the wrinkled dress... just a quick try-on when i received it!

The media could not be loaded. This came in smelling absolutely horrible. I had to steam it with peppermint and let it hang outside in the air and sun for a couple of hours to let it freshen up a bit but it still carries a stink so I’ll have to hand wash it now. It looked really cute under the dress I had, but it did fit a little too big for my 36 inch waist. Just buyer beware of whatever horrid smell is on this thing. That’s mostly why I’m giving it 3 stars.

I would give more stars if I could! It's exactly what I was looking for and a great length. I love that it peek-a-boo's under my dress and adds just enough fluff without being too noisy. Also there was no weird smell lol. Perfect for dapper day!

The quality is okay but the mold smell was so bad that I had to wash it multiple times AND spray with deodorizer! It does give good volume to a dress with out being overwhelming. However it sits a little to high on the waist so it adds bulk where you don't want it. I would have returned it if I didn't have to wash it before even trying it on.
