How does the non stick surface fare in time? Had a counter top griddle whit flakes of coating in 10 uses

My husband uses ours daily & it still looks as good as new which is far better than all the frying pans he burnt to death so yes it’s really sturdy

Has anyone made smash burgers with this? Does it get hot enough and stay hot enough to get the caramelised crust that smash burgers have? Thanks

Yes, this is fab, I’ve done thick steaks on it, chicken skewers…lots of different things…and it’s great how you can make one side super hot and keep the heat lower on the other side..
