Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These look great! I have the torches as well. The only thing is, I wish the "flicker" was about half the speed. Torches are fine at the level, like flames. These, look like candles and the flicker is just too fast. Well built quality though. Just need a little slower "charming flicker" to be perfect. Maybe I'm being too picky. Lol. These are super bright and do in fact give off a candle effect. I've had these for a few months now and all of them are still going strong. I will update on the durability at a later date.As another reviewer noted, it would be slightly more realistic if the flicker effect was slowed down just a tad, but these are a solid item. Even though they are solar powered, they are super bright. It's kinda funny but my heart has started racing a few times after looking outside and looking at these solar candles and thinking something was burning, LOL. That's how authentic these are.To get an idea of how efficient the units are, even on slightly cloudy days, they burn all night and into the morning. I leave for work around 4 AM and these units are burning just as bright as can be.I've been on the prowl for bright solar powered amber lights and have been disappointed in every other purchase except these. I can't speak highly enough of these units and will highly recommend them to others.

Do not buy this product. The flickering went out after only 2 weeks. A neighbor has a larger model of a competitive product and we will be seeking that product. This is basically a light now due to the malfunction of both lanterns.

These were great for the 3-4 weeks they worked. I had one outside in the sun and another inside in a sunny window. The one I kept inside failed after 3 weeks and the one I kept outside failed after 4 weeks. They are a complete waste of money for the length of time they lasted.

Bought these back in late summer. They're now dead. Their website is useless. Can't get in contact with anyone through their website. You cannot change out the batteries on these.

Only works for first few days, then it stopped working. I love the idea and design, but I can’t keep something only works for few days.

Looked great, but only lasted a few months. Of the two units one is still working fine, the other is dead. Too bad, I was going to purchase a few more but can't recommend.Update: I contacted the seller and they offered to replace the unit if I mailed back the unit. Spent the $15 sending it back. Waiting for replacement. 2 Days later, the other unit broke. Going to cut my losses at give up on this product. Would give it a 0 if I could

Love these lanterns! Use them on my deck. Sent a pair to each of my son's as well. The only downside is you can't replace the batteries.
