I definitely like the links to websites and videos that will help ...
I am 50 years old. My mother spent many of her formative years living in Japan. I cannot remember a time when I did not use Origami the way kids now use "fidget spinners." Origami helped to keep me sane. With the advent of the internet, we all progressed a bit from basic cranes (I will never understate their importance, but they *are* basic) to what the masters are doing, and this progressed to a more thorough understanding for us all.The art moved from simple (or complex) animals and such, towards modular designs.I really embrace the process, but more importantly, so does NASA and Ikea.If you are playing with basic cranes, then you need to buy the first volume. The folds are easier, and the assembly is easier. This book moves a bit beyond.I would suggest a basic understanding of tesselations.I definitely like the links to websites and videos that will help you to learn the basics behind each model, but I fear they may become outdated over time. I can only hope that the editors help maintain/update the links as necessary.

Meenashi Mukerji is a wonderful resource for beautiful and satisfying Origami
Meenashi Mukerji is a wonderful resource for beautiful and satisfying Origami. She makes things simple with her diagrams and instructions. She has the color photos on the cover keyed to diagrams. She lets you know the size f the model when made with a certain size paper. She is the kindest of Origami authors!

Very happy with all the design options and variations
Even better than the first volume and many variations! I've been able to complete about 8 of the designs in here and hope to challenge myself even more with me re complex options in this book!

The new volume for modular-fans
This book is the second part of the author's bestselling 'Exquisite modular origami' book. It has instructions for 25 new beautiful models of Meenakshi Mukerji and 3 models of the guest authors: Unia Filonova, Narong Krimed and Natalia Romanenko. The book begins with the picture index, seasoned with difficulty levels, paper shape and the number of units needed for the particular model. The difficulty level varies from simple to advanced. There are eight six-unit cubes and octahedrons, one twelve-unit dodecahedron, seventeen thirty-unit balls and one gorgeous 60-unit model. So the reader has a great choice from the different difficulty options and time needed to finish the complete model.Among the most tasty models in the book I'd name the heart cube (it's always good to have one for the Valentine's day), 'Compound of 5 tetrahedrons' - the modular with an amazing and fascinating shape and Frangipani model (Natalia Romanenko) with very nice and natural colour change.

Modelos bonitos
Livro interessante, bem explicativo.

Beautiful modular origami
Amazing modular origami models - Columbine is my favourite. The instructions are clear and detailed, but a few colour photos of the trickier steps / variations would be helpful.Let down by the publisher's choice of black & white printing - the beautiful cover images are the only colour ones.
