I purchased this electric bass guitar for my son, who is just starting to learn how to play. It's been a great choice for beginners. Great for the money, everything you need to see if you like it or not

To be fair, I have never used another bass. This is my first! I originally was looking into used options, but there really weren't any in my area, and financially, it made the most sense to go with this little starter kit. I am now happily learning how to play. The package comes with everything you need to start learning, and the bass itself seems to be pretty solidly built. I do not have the experience to really judge it in detail, but hey, it makes sound and is easy to tune! My one criticism of the included items would be the strap. The strap immediately started to fray on me, and since it has no padding, it really dug into my shoulder when I used it. I have since switched to a different strap with some thick padding and am a lot happier with that. But everything else? Perfect to start out!

Really happy with this set up it’s just what I need to start learning and the free lessons are really helpful. Also Norman’s have been really helpful and supportive. Thank you guys.

Had to return as it was an electric bass and son wanted electric guitar and it was also too big, but it was beautiful and sound quality was awesome. If it had been what he actually wanted then would have kept it, but managed to get same exact brand and color as a smaller size in electric guitar. Highly recommend 3rd Ave.

I was after a cheap bass guitar and thought I'd take a chance on a 'Used - Acceptable' version of this from Amazon Warehouse. It was half the normal price. I expected something a bit battered, in accordance with the description of 'Used - Acceptable'. And I thought: what's the worst, I can just return it if it's really no good. What I got instead was a bass that looks like it hasn't even been touched...not a single mark on it. The cosmetic damage mentioned in the item description isn't there. The bass itself is fine for a beginner and the amp does the job too. Bargain!

This is my first bass, I play guitar and thought why not try bass.

Had this set about a year now,bought for my son who wanted to learn bass guitar,he has hardly used it,very cheap set,sound's not the best and the amp is horrendous,guitar needs to be tuned every time used. And after 9 months and minimal use the amp now doesn't work at all. This is not even good for a starter set,my musician relative took one look at it and had one go at it and said it was a waste of money,and that was after a week of having it,should of listened to him and sent it back.
