Great with caveats
I’ve been a longtime user of their competitor’s product (real purity) which I also like but they seemed to have changed their passion color which I was using, so I tried Gabriel. Pros of Gabriel: the color lasted a lot longer, held up after blotting and eating, and so far at least hasn’t been as mushy as Real purity (whose lipsticks sometimes break off the base.) Also, I like the color options better than the current palette of real purity offerings which seem to be catering to ‘cottage core punk’ or purple haired types. I just want understated roses and pinks for a not overly made up look (and the occasional redder color for the Christmas holiday) and found three understated roses/pink colors in Gabriel. Cons of Gabriel: possibly not as ‘clean’ as real purity (but still better than most lipsticks), and after buying three, sometimes the colors aren’t exactly as expected from the marketing, but once I figure them out it’ll be ok for repeat buying the ones that actually look best. I had the same problem with real purity when I first tried them, but to my knowledge Gabriel doesn’t have cheap samples to try before investing in the actual lipstick tube. Of the three tubes I bought, I can live with Gabriel’s colors that I liked less as they’re still be good for various occasions (one is a little too bright pink but for the spring it will be fine). Real purity has to be used within a couple years or they kind of ‘go off’ as maybe the natural oils in them go rancid just like a food product, which is how pure they are. If it hadn’t been that they changed the color I mainly used (and many of the others on offer are too garish looking for me like bright lavender) I probably wouldn’t have tried Gabriel because I’m a creature of habit. I haven’t had Gabriel lipsticks that long, but I do like the colors and the performance for those occasions when I do wear lipstick. If I have to update I will in the future, but right now I think Gabriel is pretty great.

So far so good for sensitive lips
About 5 years ago, I began to develop an allergic reaction to lipstick. I began to experience fine bumps and mild discomfort on my lower lip forcing me to just use products like vaseline or chapstick. Every 6 - 8 months, I try a new brand of lip gloss and lipstick that claims to be good for sensitive lips, but by the 3rd day my lip would break out. After taking another 6 month break, I decided to try this brand. I am only on day 3, but I am happy to report that I am feeling no signs of irritation. I love the color. It comes on very rich. It is almost matte like, so I am not finding that it is very moisterizing. The color stays put for hours with limited eating and drinking. I am hoping that my sensitive lips continue to behave. I truly miss wearing lipstick and would love to try more colors. I am feeling very hopeful about this product because all of the others that I have tried caused problems right away.

The perfect nude/brown!
This is the perfect color of "nude" lipstick that is technically a brown shade. Mac NW 13 foundation matches my skin tone so I'm pretty fair-skinned. It took me a long time to find a nude lipstick that worked for me! I was trying all the "nudes" and they washed me out and made me look like I was dead. Then I finally tried this color and realized that I need a darker, more brown lipstick in order for it to look right on me. A lot of nudes also are very pink, and on me they show up as super bright pink and not nude at all. If you have that problem, definitely try this lipstick! The feel of this lipstick is really nice. It's not a matte, but not shiny or glossy either. It's just kind of creamy. I wear the Gabriel Lipliner in Nutmeg beneath this lipstick and it has good staying power. Since it's not totally matte, it does come off when you eat or drink, but not completely or in a way that looks terrible. It wears down evenly so you don't look like you have a ring around your mouth. There are some matte lipsticks that have better staying power (they don't come off on your glass when you drink, etc) but they aren't made without harmful ingredients like this lipstick is. This lipstick has no bad ingredients, it's a beautiful color, and it stays well with a lipliner underneath. I highly recommend it!

Meritage is great is you are looking for the Elvira "goth" look!
Meritage is the darkest lipstick I have ever bought!!! It is not "dark wine"... more like "black plum!" It is going back because the description of the color is not accurate. Very disappointing unless I wanted to look like the Munster family! I love the cleanness of this Gabriel line of lipsticks. The last stripe is the "goth" Meritage color, the next stripe is the color Matte Spice which is a great red lipstick with terra cotta tones, and then Velour color is a nice red with plum overtones. I like the Pomegranate color a lot as well because it's a nice spring/summer red which has a deep pink tone.

Not Rated excellent on the Yuka App
I am changing my review. I have found that not all lipsticks of this brand are rated good or excellent on the Yuka app. My mistake. I thought if one had a good rating they all did. I wasted money ordering 3 different colors. Original review: Switched to this brand. No harmful chemicals. I love all their colors, good texture, lasts from meal to meal. Comfortable inadvertently eating the lipstick, unlike the other, popular brands I used to buy.

Love the colour
Love the colour, is slightly more orange than I normally wear (pillarbox red) but if you layer it the colour is really nice. It has a slight matte finish and is very moisturising. Just need to re-apply after eating and drinking. Very happy.

Nice, but...
I've got 3 colours of GABRIEL Lipstick depending on the reviews & as I undertood it's all natural ingredients & I was so excited to get them & try them on! but then when they arrived today, I was disapointed that the ingredients have (IRON OXIDES, MICA, TITANUM DIOXIDE) & everybody knows these are absolutely not natural or even good ingredients!! I really wished to give it 5 stars!!

Très belle couleur!
Même s'il est arrivé quelques jours en retard, je suis satisfaite de ce produit. Couleur exquise et brillance sur les lèvres juste à point.
