Hmm. Okay--I am coming from years as a Tangle Teezer user. Hair type is basically 2a (slightly wavy), very long, mixed-texture, thinning from malnutrition. This brush feels premium in comparison with my old brush. Tangle Angel feels more solid, higher-quality. The weight causes me to be more careful as I brush--is that intentional in the design? I would not call the bristles 'soft and flexible', as they are a tinge too firm for my hair type. They are cut at lengths that make them grab my hair even better than the Teezer did, though. Great for massaging the scalp, too. Just have to be gentle to avoid tearing. It certainly detangles at least as well as the Teezer has done when I start from the bottom of my hair and cautiously work my way up. I think both brushes offer the same ease of removing tangles. Angel's anti-static feature is superb, probably better than Teezer's. I feel like the Angel will stand up better to washing than Teezer has, but I also know I've needed a gentler cleaning brush. (After lots of research, I decided on a horsehair pot brush to reach down into the bristle bed without hurting the bristles or scratching plastic.) I probably will not get another Teezer now that I have experienced an Angel. Just need to get the RE:BORN version which apparently has softer bristles. Admittedly, a large part of my curiosity for this brush was my attraction to the design and colour. It is pretty enough to keep on my desk, and stands up to create a much smaller footprint. I got it on sale and would certainly buy it again, even at full price. A valuable acquisition. - Mrs. Eiriksson

cute but also effective. removes tangles very easily and is affordable. it’s the perfect size and the quality is excellent. i have very thick hair (1C i guess?) and it works great.

Super cute! This is my new favorite wet/dry brush. I used to use the wet brush brand for years, but needed a replacement after so many “balls” on the bristles fell off. So it would scratch my head to use. This one is nice since it doesn’t have those balls! So your hair never gets stuck in it and it feels SO good on the scalp. It also feels more silkier to brush your hair through.

Not sure if it's worth 20 bucks but the design is beautiful. The black is flat and not shiny but still nice. It's light with bristles that varies in height to accommodate the curve of the skull. Got one for myself.

My young teen daughter loved this brush because it’s cute. But it works well in her extremely thick, long hair. She has to have a good strong brush and this fit the bill!!

Super cute, i saw another comment about how it feels like a toy brush in my opinion it doesn’t maybe kinda looks like it but it’s good quality. I brushed my hair with it and it didn’t pull, i specifically liked this one because it doesn’t have those small balls at the end of the brissels that always break off. And I’m glad I got it! I have hair length to my hips and it worked great I love it. The color is even a little pearlescent! It fits perfectly in your hand while being cute.

Beautiful brush that works well, I love having it in my hair care routine.

detangles and combs hair well, doesn't pull on hair

Not good. Will keep lot of hair on its brush and beneath the bristles/brush which is difficult to remove. Not at all worth it.
