NeilMed Classic Porcelain Neti Pot Green with 30 Premixed Packets

I've used this when I've had a cold and it works well but yesterday I used it because I read that it cures the problem of constant phlegm that I've had for most of my life, and I was amazed, because after using it once (and drinking a lot of water), the phlegm is practically gone and I don't have the constant throat clearing. So I recommend this highly. The opening is a tiny bit big that but ensures a good seal of my nostrils, so it works, so I'll use it almost every day. Note, I CANNOT use the full amount of the salt mixture because it stings, and even half is too strong for me, but I use a small amount (a third or a fourth) and it stings only a tiny bit. I use boiled water that's cooled.

I love this little thing. I normally buy the squeeze bottles from the same brand, but I really like how slow and controlled it is with the pot. The color is adorable the pot is cute too, so I can leave it displayed in my bathroom. I definitely felt sinus relief after one use.

It is made or porcelain, so if you drop it it will will break! Had to buy this since I broke my previous one from the same brand. I use this to clean my airways and it works great. Spring pollen season is a bane and I love that I can sleep with clean airway after using this with the included salt packs. I bought a whole bunch of additional premixed packets as my wife and myself use one almost everyday and twice if I had to do yard work etc.

I had been using the plastic bottle for a decade now. It says on the box you are supposed to replace the bottle every 3 months. That's kind of ridiculous, since I used two bottles over 10 years. I assume they suggest replacing the plastic because plastic absorbs bacteria and miniscule junk especially if you put it in the microwave for 60 seconds to disinfect. Anyways, one day I felt a cold coming on so I decided to use the plastic bottle to rinse my sinus and BAM... I woke up with a sinus infection the next day. So I tossed all my plastic bottles and bought this porcelain Neti Pot since it should last much longer with normal washing with Dawn soap. Unfortunately it is more difficult to "pour" the water solution into your nostril because the water comes out your other nostril slowly and drips down your face and chin and splashes everywhere. It's not like the sinus rinse plastic bottle where you can blast the water into each nostril so it comes out your other nostril quick and easy. I guess you can put in the microwave too for disinfection, but I just wash it then fill it up with boiling hot water a for a couple minutes instead. It's solid porcelain so this should last me forever as long as I don't drop it! FYI it fits exactly 8 ounces of water to the brim.

What I like about this product is that it is ceramic, and won’t absorb germs like the plastic alternatives. It is a quality Neti pot, and seems well-made. The only thing I’m a little disappointed with is that the stream of sailine solution comes out a little slowly from the spout. The spout must be a little too narrow inside. That said, I’m used to it now and it just requires a little patience

This was recommended from my MD. It helped with severe congestion and allergies. Use distilled water.

I wish I had bought this unit earlier but I didn’t know they existed until I saw it on Amazon. It’s heavy, I must admit, but it does the job so much better than the plastic one I replaced with it. It fits better in my nostrils and it flows much better and deeper into my sinuses. I use warm boiled water and this pot maintains the temperature much longer than the plastic ones. Finally, it looks classy and is a beautiful piece of pottery in its own right. With proper care, it should last a long time!

I broke my netti pot after having it for25+ years. I panicked because I didn’t know which one to buy. I went with the Neil Med one because I use the Neil Med salt packets already measured out.. I love it even more than my original netti pot!
