Needed shelves to put in a shipping container that we use for garden storage. Researched lots of options and went with these because of their good reviews, their size & strength and also the apparent ease of putting them up. They didn't disappoint. They arrived in a timely manner, I watched a few YouTube videos where blokes were putting these things up with apparent ease using nothing more than a mallet. The surprising sticking point for me was actually fitting the small plastic 'feet' to each upright. The guys in the videos just seemed to pop them on with no effort, but I came close to madness, swearing and watching them ping out of my hand and into the garden a million times. You get one side hammered on, but the other side is a b@$tard! Anyway, once they were on the rest went fairly smoothly. You would benefit from someone's help just to hold some of the struts in place whilst you mallet them in place, but otherwise it's plain sailing. The finished result is fantastic; durable and strong. Would 100% recommend.

These are brilliant, i found very easy to put together on my own, once you realise how they fit , hardest part for me was those plastic feet m, that was a struggle. Once full assembled they are rock solid, i brought the 240cm x 45cm was do impressed i brought the 120cm x 45cm which arrived in two days!!!! Just finished these garage looks do tidy.

I was dreading assembling this because of my tight time schedule and also because it looks amazing in the advertising photos that i assumed this was going to be a difficult time consuming task.To my surprise this was the SIMPLEST piece of equipment i have ever known to put together!There are literally no tools, it just all clips into place. If you make a mistake it easily unclips again without causing any damage or weakness to the metal.Initially i was anxious that no rubber mallet is included with this but you don't need one!Just push it together. I did this on my own too and found that by lying everything on its side it was so simple.It took me 90 minutes.The sturdyness is to perfection, it's solid. I needed a decent strong sturdy shelving unit to hold around 30 bags of ironing for my business and it doesn't sway or rock one bit and it stands perfectly straight and solid to the floor.I bought the largest unit which is well worth the £200 i paid for it.The paintwork is powdered to prevent rust. The boards are thicker than expected too.Highly recommended!

Disappointingly 6 of the 10 horizontal shelves had the ends damaged which affected the slotting together with the leg uprights plus all 4 mdf shelves also had damage to one corner. The shelves were useable and as they were for storage then we made do - the damaged metal horizontals with only a little persuasion with some pliers were straightened enough to be usable and fitted together ok. While the damage was annoying the actual shelves are great - instructions clear and simple, eventually fitting together straight forward (with help of rubber mallet!) and appears strong and sturdy - doing the job it was bought for. For the price I would have expected more protective packing on the parcel ends which would have avoided the damage.

Quick and easy to assemble. A good robust set of shelves.

This shelving was purchased to provide storage in my garage. On the positive side after assembly the unit looks smart and is solid and steady in its construction.On the negative side the assembly was certainly not easy and proved very time consuming. My main disappointment concerned the thickness and quality of the hardboard shelving. On unpacking these items it was noticed that on one corner all items had been damaged by being knocked. My assumption was that this had happened prior to packing, as there was no sign of damage to the protective packaging.My final concern on this order is that as the shelving unit is now positioned in my unheated garage the flimsy hardboard shelving may be affected by damp in the course of time. There was a warning on the accompanying directions sheet that the shelving materials should be protected by a suitable sealant if exposed to possible damp conditions. Well, I imagine the majority of UK purchasers will have bought this item for use in a unheated garage, workshop or shed and therefore considering our wet and cold winters the majority of customers like me will need to apply a sealant to all exposed areas of the shelving. Could they not have been provided with a sealant in the factory?So in summary I cannot recommend this purchase and certainly would not buy again from this company.
