I use this to monitor and analyze my skin's moisture and oil levels. It is useful to determine whether you skin has the right moisture and oil levels and whether the skin products you are using are doing its job. For optimal skin health, the ideal range for water content should be around 30-35%. Adequate hydration helps maintain skin barrier function and overall health. Oil content should be around 20-25%. A balanced oil production is crucial to good skin health. Too little can lead to dryness and irritation, while too much can cause acne and other skin issues. Elasticity should ideally be around 80-90%. Elastiicty refers to the skin's ability to return to its original shape after being stretched. As you can see from the video, the accuracy is great. When I wet my fingers and measure the water content, it shows close to 100%. Then, when I measure my dry skin it tells me what the water, oil, elasticity and skin age. Now, it may not be accurate as professional skin care instruments labs will use, but it is enough for me to determine what I will need for my skin.

Love this tool to show clients their percentages before and after skin treatments. It’s easy to use and an awesome design! It’s a great price for what it does. Highly suggest.

As I said... not worth it. And I don't believe the numbers. It said my skin is 20 years old!! I'm 67! Nope

Cool at first. I love being able to see the predicted age of my skin and my boyfriend has fun with it too. All of the other information is kind of useless unless you know what percentage range you’re supposed to be in. The numbers are different from your cheeks to your forehead to your chin, etc. My skin’s “age” also changes all of the time and I really have no explanation for why. My assumption would be something to do with the moisture level, but it would be better if it came with clear instructions for how to interpret the readings.

This works and shows diffeeences on different individuals faces, however I’m not sold on the accuracy. It is fun to see who is the “youngest age” according to the reading. Overall, fun product to use to gauge how hydrated your skin is.

This product is fun to use and does what it says, however after 2 months of use the product randomly stopped turning on. It simply sits in my room om my desk so this was a bit disappointing.

Great product. Cheap, but sturdy enough. Very useful to collect data on what parts of your skin need more moisture. Also lets you know how well your moisturer performs after hours. 😄 Very happy with the purchase.
