Great resource
Fantastic book. I'm an acupuncturist and for the last 8 years, I've been specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. There was a bit of a learning curve for me in doing that because in order to do that, I had to go outside of the realm of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I really wish I would have found this book a long time ago, I had to piece together a lot of the material that in it on my own. Had I found it back then, it would have saved me a lot of work. Great resource.

An Introduction
I liked the drawings, which were clear and simplified and yet detailed. Some other books on anatomy were too ambitious in their figures or photos and led to confusion with too much detail. The movement descriptions were helpful in understanding how all the pieces operated and fit together. I wanted more direct implications for dance movement considerations, exercises and stretches. However, it was an introductory tomb, so I will use it in conjunction with more dance specific books.

Great book for bodyworkers
The book has simple and clear illustrations and concise text. The book seems best suited to readers who already have some experience studying anatomy. It then serves as a great refresher, touchstone, and unique re-integrator of points of reference that have been forgotten, mis-understood or misplaced in the memory.I found the point of view elegant and the organization of the information flowed in a useful way that I found simple to follow and understand. This also makes it easier to bookmark and refer to.I'm very glad to have this book as part of my working collection of reference books and study guides.

This is a really awesome book. The author/illustrator is a dancer
This is a really awesome book. The author/illustrator is a dancer, which adds a wonderful perspective to the body movements she illustrates. Whether you are a dancer, a yogi, a runner, or an athlete of any stripe, this book will help you figure out what's going on with your activity. For me the best two uses are helping me understand what I am doing in the gym so I can fine tune my workouts, and, since I practice personal injury law, helping me understand my client's injuries.

Interesting - a bit above me but it has helped
I bought this for my own research while studying yoga. It is well written and interesting, but it is a bit above my level as I have no prior training in this area.

Great for students, yogis, and teachers!
Fantastic book and required reading for any serious yoga practitioner or teacher. I'm sure most customers are probably in medical school that need this, but regardless of why you need this book, know that it is brand new, has sharp, detailed pictures and explanations, and is at the top of the list for anyone desiring to learn more about how the human body moves, what parts of the anatomy are utilized, and a broad overview of anatomy in general. For beginner and intermediate levels.

Helpful book for anyone training to become certified instructor!
This book was recommended to me by my pilates training instructor and has been so helpful in my journey to become certified. Highly recommend. The illustrations help break down complex body questions and I love the way the book is outlined. It's pretty much a full text book/manual and I'm sure will need to be referenced many times over the years for different client issues.

Very helpful
I'm studying to be a personal trainer and this book was helpful in explaning the planes of movement and the illustrations are very detailed and explaned the location of the muscles used for different movements. One stumbling block I encountered in my studies was abduction and adduction and this book made it so easy to understand. I will refer to this book many times. I have a greater appreciation for the human body and the wonder that is us! This book would be helpful to anyone studying anatomy.
