Helped Our Preemie Grow Stronger
Our baby was born premature, and after discharge, the doctor recommended Similac NeoSure. It has been a lifesaver. We’ve seen steady weight gain, better digestion, and overall more energy in our little one. The powder mixes smoothly and doesn’t clump, which makes late-night feedings easier. Knowing it’s designed specifically for preemies gives us peace of mind. Pros: Specially made for premature babies after hospital discharge Supports healthy weight gain and development Easy to mix, no clumping Comes in a value pack, so we don’t run out quickly Cons: Pricier than regular formulas Limited availability in some stores Overall, it’s worth every penny for the health and growth of our baby. Highly recommend for other parents with preemies.

Finally a great price on Amazon!!
I'm not really sure how to review this formula. It is only recommended that you use this under the direction of a physician, so whether or not it worked for our babies doesn't mean that it will, or even should be attempted, for your babies. If, however you're just checking to see if other people have used it, then yes, our preemies were given this in the hospital and we continued its use at home. When asked if I could switch formulas, my pediatrician advised not to since the babies still needed the 22 calorie formula. Even at 10 weeks premature, our babies at 3 months now are no different than ACTUAL 3 month babies - pretty amazing. But, yes, now the price on Amazon is inline with what you will find in the store. The only better deal I can find is to use the coupons that Similac sends out, but there are only so many of those. But free shipping and no tax through Amazon? Can't beat that! I bought it at eighty nine dollars, so that at least saved me tax. I also bought it through one of the other sellers here on Amazon for seventy two dollars, and that was even better. Just depends on when you read this review as to whether or not it's relevant. **Update - the Neosure also ended up being very hard on our babies' tummies. They were switched to Alimentum, and now the $15 a can - even with tax - is like a dream price.

Pricey, gassy, but not half-ass-y
My baby was born premature (6 hours short of 33 weeks), and has just recently been weening from pumped breastmilk - going to full time formula. This was recommended by her doctors and it is definitely good! Fills her longer, gives her energy and has so far protected her from sickness. The only downsides I can see are: 1. The price. I mean, the stuff is well made. But please take into account the high medical bills that come with having to stay in the NICU for so long. Especially if not everyone’s insurance covers it. Also, if a baby won’t breastfeed because of constant bottle feeding in that NICU. She is almost 3 months now and goes through a can every two weeks if we’re lucky. So 6 cans only lasts, maybe, 3 months. 2. Her gas is pretty bad. She screams for hours because of it and the only relief she can get is during a warm bath - which relaxes her. I would have switched to full time formula a while ago if it weren’t for the price and the discomfort for my baby. Other than those two things, I love this formula! Easy to pack and transport and can be used with bottled water on the go 👌🏽
