Ceramedx Soothing Ceramide Facial Lotion, Fragrance Free, 4 oz

In a moment of desperation, I was successfully cajoled into buying an $80 face oil from Sephora. That oil not only did not clear my skin (which broke out to stress and vicious cycle of using harsh products) it gave me dry patches that looked like a rash and would burn and sting when I sweated, so early summer was not a great time for my skin. I wanted to give CeraVe a try because I remembered using it as a teen but after looking into it, saw that it wasnt Vegan (and not CF). Thank goodness I found Ceramedx. My skin felt better the next morning after I used it the first night. It was no longer tight, hot and itchy. I use it both AM and PM and the consistency is a lightweight lotion. It's been a few weeks now and in combination with the Ceramedx body lotion (which I use on my face in the PM for nights when I need something extra) the Ceramedx facial wash and a SA toner; my skin has started to heal AND clear up. I really wish these products were more widely available in stores so more people have a chance to try it. It's healing, not harsh, simple, reasonably priced, CF AND VEGAN! Forget Cerave; beauty products shouldn't be ugly. Put something truly beautiful and beautifying on your face. Ceramedx all the way!

Ditch the Cerave and upgrade to CeramedX!!!!! This super hydrating product packs a lot of high quality Ingredients into a great sized pump bottle. It goes on like a thin lotion, soaks into the skin without leaving any weird film or greasiness. Your skin stays hydrated all day even though it feels like you have nothing on. I use this in the summer as a lightweight moisturizer option and pair it with Ceramedx cream in the winter. I have SUPER sensitive dry skin so I am very picky about ingredients. I really appreciate this formulation, as it has done so much to calm my dry skin. No noticeable scent but also doesn’t smell gross like some unscented skincare products. Sunscreen & Makeup goes on flawlessly over top. Best part - it’s Vegan(no animal guts or juices in it), cruelty free (no torturing of animals), and no parabens (hormone disrupters). All boxes checked with this one! Score of 9/10. Now, if we could just get more eco friendly/sustainable/low waste packaging it would be a 10/10!

I have been using there products for years. I have rosecea and dry skin that is prone to break outs. I know great combination. I use this and the foaming face wash. In the winter I keep a bottle of face moisturizer in my bag to use on my hands and face. Its silky and absorbes quickly. The other great thing about their products is that they are fragrance free and they do not test on animals!! Plus you cannot beat the price for great skin care!!

I have tested this lotion thoroughly, and it irritates my skin badly no matter where I put it in my skincare routine. I assume that the culprit is the Ophiopogon Japonicus root extract, because it’s the only ingredient that I haven’t tried before. It’s such a shame, too, because this is a great lotion. It has no scent yet doesn’t smell funky the way many fragrance free products do. The texture is silky. It does a great job of moisturizing. It’s really a perfect daytime moisturizer for dry skin. I’m so disappointed that I can’t use it. I took off just one star for the reaction because it’s such a great product otherwise.

The most gentle moisturized I have found for my rosacea-affected skin. It’s light-weight, absorbes quickly, and leaves my skin very soft.

The lotion is amazing when you get a good bottle, but I just got my second bottle and it smelled awful and made my face red and rashy. If you get a bottle that smells gross do not use it. The lotion was also visibly a different color. Ordering a new bottle to see if they all have this issue

This is my favorite face lotion. It's light weight but also moisturizing and doesn't irritate me or break me out.

Like many people with sensitive skin, a short ingredient list appeals to me. I was very disappointed when I received this product because the actual ingredient list is MUCH longer than listed by the seller, and includes multiple ingredients people with sensitive skin may not be able to tolerate. I am silicone sensitive & develop painful boils when I use products that include silicones like Dimethicone. This product contains Dimethicone, among other ingredients that are not friendly to various skin conditions. The advertising combined with the inaccurately short ingredient list leads me to believe this seller is being intentionally dishonest in this product listing.
