These are definitely not quiet. They aren't extremely loud but really no different then normal clippers. They do work great though.

I've only used these clippers a few times on my doodle, and not to a consistent degree (didn't go over the whole dog each use). Only have needed to charge it twice, if that accounts for how little I've used it.First couple of times I had no issues, but recently it'll randomly decide not to cut no matter how charged or clean it is. Or, it'll only cut if I pull the hair up so it's at a certain angle. Still giving 4/5 because this could be user error? Otherwise, it's a really cute device and the price for the kit is pretty unbeatable. Charge lasts through a whole groom easily. Just have to mess with it a bit sometimes to get traction.

Very small package and cake with lots of high quality tools. Also trimmer came w a charge which was nice to hear the level of vibration and noise. I gathered up my giant fur ball of a cat, Random Lee, and proceeded to shave out some underarm mats. The worked fast and cleanly without pulling his hair. The dial sets the blade depth very nicely and stays out of the way compared to other shavers with the swing arm attached to the blade housing. Comes with a file, nail clippers, a very sturdy solid metal duo spaced tooth comb, and clipper guards, charging plug, clipper oil and cleaner brush for the clipper head. This beats prices on some other models like the wahl brand. It’s lightweight, cordless and very quiet. Highly recommend if you are maintaining your own pets or working on others. I prefer to use cuticle nippers to take the sharp tip only off my cats nails as this doesn’t crush the nail ans let’s me just hook under the very tip an snip off. The nail clippers come with a little lock to keep them closed and pre oiled. Oh and before I forget it also came with the most high quality scissors!! I do hairdressing too and these are super great quality. Heavy and sharp. Not thin metal or childlike. Buy this.

Our dogs get scared when loud noises happen and these have no loud startup like electric clippers, charge lasts, no starting and stopping to recharge.

I have a golden doodle who needs weekly touchups to keep her coat from getting matted. Being able to groom her at home was made easy and saved money. Its low noise helps my pup stay calm.

I bought this because it was pink and b/c of the price. It works well. I use it to shave the private parts of my long-haired dogs and persian cats. I also use it to shave the tummy of my persian cat as well. You can plug it in to charge and then unplug it and it works b/c it's charged.

I use these when not at home and they work great, super quiet, but not able to recharge for some reason, and have 3 of them. At 25 bucks it's still cost effective for me to buy these but others should beware that they are getting a very limited set of clippers.
