I'm a fan of almonds so I love this. Not a huge jar so I have to use olive oil as a help in heating.

This Trapanese Pesto Sauce, made with Tomato Sauce, Basil & Almonds has a short and simple ingredient list. Please see the attached photo for nutritional info, as the one on the listing seems to be inaccurate. As this product contains no animal products, it also has no cholesterol. At the time of my review, there is an error on the listing showing 5 mg cholesterol. In fact, based on the label there is none. There's still a high fat content due to the sunflower oil.The imported spread is quite flavorful and goes well on fresh bread or toasts. Obviously, you can toss it on pasta, too. It's a bit more oily than I would prefer, but I do like the rich tomato flavor. Highly recommend!!

The pesto tastes very good. The flavor is rich and satisfying. There is strong tomato taste. There is a lot of sunflower oil added to the mix, but it didn't feel too oily to me. It was great as a spread on fresh bread. It was good as a pasta sauce, too. It says it contains almonds, they must be mashed because I didn't notice any pieces, it is pretty smooth

This is a really nice sauce. It is thick like pesto but largely tomato based as opposed to the primary flavor being basil. The small jar is enough for a single large dish.I really appreciate the simple ingredients.Overall very happy with the "Trapanese Pesto Sauce, made with Tomato Sauce, Basil & Almonds. Spread on toasted baguette and it was delicious and flavorful. I do think the price currently $11.99 for such a small jar is a bit overpriced but if that’s not a concern I say go for it!

This Trapanese Pesto Sauce has good flavor.It's a bit oily but has good ingredients.My entire family enjoyed the flavor.At $12, I do think it's a little pricey.
