JR Products 11021 Black RV Deluxe Entry Door Window Frame

I ordered a replacement window that was so poorly packaged 18 out of 20 plastic "posts" that held the window in place inside the frame were broke off. I of course returned it. So I started looking through Amazon for another brand of window, not wanting to experience the same issue by reordering the same window when I found this frame only option. It arrived well packaged and undamaged. I had the glass from the old window which was still perfectly fine. The new frame came with pre-installed caulk for both the glass and where the frame meets the door. No screws but the old screws worked perfectly. This was more than 1/2 the price of the first window I ordered and it fit perfectly. Very happy with price, quality and ease of installation.

I had actually bought two different frames and bought putty separately from regular stores. I could never find the putt that was thin enough to work with the frame with the glass in it which led to not being able to screw it onto the door. I love that this product came with the putty pre-installed a total lifesaver. It was easy to install the quality is the same that I got from the regular stores it looks great on the RV. Definitely a good value and a time saver

Perfect replacement for cracked frame. I guess these frames will all crack in 5 or so years under Florida heat. Outside frame has window and door sealant pre-applied. If replacing by yourself use painters tape on outside window to make sure it doesn’t fall out after all screws are removed.

Purchased this item to ADD a window to the door in our trailer. We purchased it used, and the original buyers didn't get the window option. The door is a standard Lippert RV door...all the windows and the door frame are black color so that's what we wanted. This matched the existing window frame color exactly. If you were using this as a replacement for a broken frame or glass my comments would likely not matter. Installing as a new window the lack of any screws supplied with the frame is annoying since it's black and black anodized stainless screws that are #6 by 1-1/2 inch are near impossible to find (Amazon has 'em). So off to find screws ... nope ...installed it with cheap plated screws and will replace them when my next Amazon order arrives. Next - no template is provided. The frame just arrives as two pieces. No instructions. Nothing. Called JR Products customer service and they offered to email me a template...don't know about you but I have no way to print something that is approx. 16" x 24". I could tile the print across several pages but... The lip around the edge is approx. 3/8". So you cannot miss the hole size by very much or you'll have gaps and a poor fit. Printing a template across 4 pages was not an option I trusted...the service rep suggested I have it printed at a local shop...for about $20. So I just made a template on some stiff cardboard. Do yourself a favor and make a template if your installing this as a new window. I used a 4-1/2" hole saw to cut the corners...then an oscillating tool to cut the lines between these corner holes. I cut a little inside the lines and them enlarged the hole slowly until everything fit snugly. The pre-applied butyl was great - just the right amount - no gaps. Saved having to buy some and sealed the window perfectly. So far no leaks. The window looks great! This glass "AP Products 015-201495 RV Entrance Door Window Glass, White" fits perfectly and is available through Amazon. You will need two people when you get to the final step of installing this in the door. The glass will fall out if not held in place until you get the frame halves screwed together.

I ordered this window ring/frame for my 5th wheel front door and received it in 2 days packaged exceptionally well. I hade it installed in less than an hour and it fits perfectly and looks great. I had cardboard and bubble wrap covering the hole in my door for over a week so the fast delivery and ease of installation brought my door nightmare to a wonderful end.
