Works, but you get what you pay for.
I will admit I did not have the highest expectations for this safe, given it's price point. The product did arrive promptly, beating the shipping estimate by a whole day. The fit and finish are on par with the price. The shipping package was sub par, with a couple dings and dents. Because I was going to hang a picture over it, I didn't really care. The thing that drives me crazy with this safe is the gap on the door and the safe body. When you go to punch in the code, the door gap causes it to bounce back and forth on every keypad press. That clanking drives me nuts. I would have gone lower on the stars, but for the price I can't be too upset. The safe fit nicely between the studs and the supplied hardware worked to secure it. The internal shelves are pretty flimsy and most fell out during shipping. Overall, you get what you pay for and this was meant to keep kids away from guns, so intent was met. Next time I will spend a bit more to get something a bit more finished.

Lets be honest, this safe can be installed in ...
Lets be honest, this safe can be installed in 20 minutes but it will depend if the studs behind the wall are truly 16" on center. If not, this safe does not account for any errors.Well made safe and simple to use.

UPDATE-- We were burglarized and it worked!!
We purchased two of these. Both arrived without any damage. They fit correctly between standard 16" on-center studs. Some folks have complained about the things being a bit noisy when using them, but for the price they're great.Upgraded this from four to five stars because we were burglarized. Our housekeeper (and perhaps an accomplice) entered our home when she knew we were on a shopping trip and would be gone for several hours. The burglar knew exactly were the safe was and where all our tools (power saws, crowbars, etc.) were kept. They had more than two hours to work on the safe-- they did not get it fully open!!The sheet rock around the safe, on both sides of the wall was ripped-out, and using a circular saw they tried to cut the studs. The safe bezel protected enough of the studs that they couldn't remove the whole safe so they tried to drill the lock-- didn't work, the steel was too hard for the drill bits they found. So they tried to pry the door open-- no joy for them there either. While they managed to get the bottom left corner of the safe pried-out about 3/8 of an inch they never got the door open. While they were able to pull-out two envelops of money on the bottom of the safe, everything on the middle and top shelf stayed in the safe. So we were out a non-trivial amount of cash, but jewelry, gold coins, and silver coins, and other things they failed to get.Lessons learned:1) If more than one person knows something it's not a secret-- make sure nobody learns WHERE your safe is located.2) Lock the door to your basement/shop/garage or wherever you keep tools-- don't supply the burglar with equipment.3) If you don't mind some sheet rock work, double-up the studs surrounding the safe and make sure the safe fits SNUGLY inside the studs. Add 2x4's top and bottom of safe (snugly) between the studs. By wrapping the safe this way it becomes stiff enough that the business end of a crowbar cannot be forced between the door and the frame.4) do not put small items or envelops on the bottom of the safe, if somebody does pry-out the bottom corner a bit then the larger items cannot be pulled out the small opening.5) If the safe is in a room with a lockable door make sure the door latch is protected by being defeated with a credit card-- that's how the burglar got into my office. Now every locking door in our home has a security plate to protect the strike/latch.

This is a pretty good deal
This is a pretty good deal. The flange was slightly bent on the one I got, but managed to straighten it out without damaging the finish. Install is easy.

Decent for price
I'm very happy with this for the price. The only thing I had to do special for it was add some felt pads (like the kind you put on the bottom of furniture legs, to the door so it wouldn't rattle every time you pressed a key (which was SUPER LOUD AND ANNOYING). It is now silent with no rattling and closes perfectly and tightly. The key pad looks sort of like it's just a sticker and mine had a scrape on the corner of the frame where there was no paint. For the price though this will work well with the minor adjustment to the door.

Hidden Treasures...
This is a standard wall safe. While shopping for a safe the ONLY real requirements that I wanted were it to fit flush so that I could cover with a picture or etc, and that it be digital. This does both. So far the only thing that I have noticed, and it's fixable, is the keypad cover is wanting to peel off in the bottom center. As others have wrote mine also came in pieces as if they had came loose during transport or someone was lazy during the building process. One shelf had 1 screw and the other shelf was loose on the bottom along with 3 nuts, bolts & washers. Easy to fix and would buy again for the price.
