The Best Planner Ever
I have used every planning system invented: Levenger Circa, Time Design, Planner Pads, Moleskine Project Pro, Day at a time and some online tools. I discovered Panda Planner a year ago when I was diagnosed with cancer. The motivational and emotional approach to their planning system was a great foundation to face the challenge. A year later I am cancer free and back at work. I did not want to lose the motivation of Panda but need more functionality for business. The Daily Planner 2.0 fits the bill. I use the annual section for the 12 months forward that are not covered by the monthly. The monthly is simple with its undated approach and 90 days is about all I can plan these days as the world is too chaotic to go beyond that. The daily gives me the motivation components, flexibility to drive my agenda, and the notes area is bigger than the Panda Planner which is great for jotting. The back note section has about two pages of paper per week, which probably enough if I write within the lines. Maybe they will add an additional 13 pages in the future. Some people have noted the paper weight is not ideal for some pens. That is true. However, I use pencil for my planner and the lighter weight makes it ideal for erasing. I have already ordered an additional few sets to cover the year. $40 for the year is a great price as Panda helps you get things done in the world and change things inside yourself. Cheap at the price point.

Best Panda Planner So Far!!!
Love the design of the new 2.0 planner. I liked the original daily planner โin theoryโ but I often found it hard to maximize its use and it can be overwhelming at times. For over a decade I was a die hard Franklin Covey planner fanatic before I fell off the wagon. Iโve successfully tried two other Panda Planners before buying this one. I went with the new weekly planner and it seems like a perfect fit for my needs where I can still track daily but I also donโt feel obligated to get too far into the weeds. Great job by the designers! I think this is a perfect fit for my preferences and a step in the right direction for me to add a little more structure to my life without it being too forced. This will be my new go to planner until the Panda team introduces something better, and I know they will because of how much they innovate based on customer feedback.

Get for those with ADHD
Out of all of the Panda Planners this one works best for my personal use. I like that it is only 3 months at a time and undated so I don't feel guilty putting away a planner I completely scribbled all over for a few months and start a new one. Having less months is less daunting for me so if you find yourself changing planners often because you get overwhelmed, this might be the planner for you. Buying 4 a year is more cost effective compared to some of the fancier planners and I am way more likely to actually use these planners over the more expensive and fancier ones. The size of the planner is also great for carrying around or leaving on your desk. I love the spirals! The one thing I would change is the dividers. They are wonderful but if you put them in the middle of the month/week you can't see the other part of the month/week with the darker dividers. I do like that I can put sticky notes on them, but not being able to see through to the other side is inconvenient. The paper is a bit on the thin side, but for the price point it is to be expected. Using a pencil and a regular pen are best with this planner. I also had to wind a thread through the coils in the back to make the opening and closing a bit smoother, but this also allows you to make an extra bookmark if you need it.

Panda missed the mark on 2.0
I can relate to the creater of Panda Planner - Lyme, neuro-immune condition, lost job, house, ability to work, then my dog. Full of infection and finally got the d/x of rare immune disease that infiltrates the entire body - brain included. To say I am confused is an understatement. Brushed off my knees and bum, and decided to work on my attitude. Panda planner seemed perfect! AND - what I took for granted before is impossible now. It was too much, I'd be stoked Sunday night, then a week would pass and I'd accomplish 1/4 of 3 minor tasks, no time to exercise or meditate much less do any 'feed my soul goals', so the original just seemed to rub in my face what a failure I am. I've defaulted to using Blue Sky weekly to keep track of my uneventful life that takes fills my days. Weekly is all I need, and barely touch the weekly pages unless I get overwhelmed. (Have 4 things coming up in the next 3 weeks, for instance). Seeing this scaled down one that was weekly and a WHOLE YEAR! I looked at the pages and it seemed to be missing all the juice of the originals, but I ordered it anyway. It has NONE of the juice of the heavy-bound 3-month weekly planners. 5x8 is a perfect size for my needs. The bookmarks are full pull-out plastic page dividers. Even though it's a full year, I get why it's undated - start whatever month you want. But it's SO simple that there's no need to put all the months up front, the the weeks, then the notes. They could have just stuck 5 weeks per month the paper is so thin. I realize they were going after the budget market, hence the low price. But they skimped. They could have added 1/4" to the wire diameter to include weekly overviews and monthly check-ins/planning in between each month or 5 weeks. There is none of the so-called "science-backed methods" to get one's life and attitude back together. Just a tiny space for a monthly habit, and an 'H' checkbox on the monthly view. Then each day, only "grateful" and "win" - in a bland box on top of each day. The plan I guess was to just leave tons of note space to let folks do their own "feel-good bullet journal" type of thing? Thumbs up on the dot grid paper vs lines for notes. I write in pencil anyway so can work with the super thin paper (I always seem to write appointments on the wrong day or week, or write the time wrong, so I need to erase a lot). But the thin paper...... Wow. Option A) thick hard-bound, luxury smooth paper but only 3 months for almost $40 - or - Option B) portable spiral bound for a full year with no "science-based" prompts with pages so cheap and thin the machine that took the stack of papers and punched holes for the spiral essentially sealed each page into the next along the entire line of holes. I can see it will be a mess in a few months, unless I meticulously separate each piece of paper and gently flip the page, and pulling to re-align on the new side. One extreme to the other. The irony is it came with 3 thick marketing schwag postcard notes in color, thanking the buyer, and commenting that "there are a lot of cheap knock-off's on Amazon but you chose the real thing." I'd suggest keep going, and look into those cheap knock-offs. They will be better quality than this. I'm holding out that they went with a new manufacturer (it says 'made in China' - what's NOT made in China?) and got the 'bait and switch'. Or maybe they approved a different design or somehow got a bad deal. This is definitely not up to Panda standards, even for the budget model. Sorry guys!

Loyal Panda fan loves the new 2.0
I fell in love with Panda a while back and have since had every size and variation and am LOVING the spiral binding on this one. Spiral means lays flat so that's always a plus. This one is quite a bit lighter than the bound one too so it doesn't feel like a brick in my purse. I like that the daily pages have more room for notes than before and the grateful & excited sections are not numbered so I can write freely. It is an UNDATED planner guys. It says it in the description, but people always get bent over that like it wasn't very clear. However, I really like this because I don't always use the weekend days and it makes my planner last longer. And it has a handy pen holder tab with it unlike the bound one so that's a nice addition. The ONLY thing I miss is the ribbons to mark exactly where I am in the planner. There are some dividers which you push into the spiral binding for each section, but I'm wondering how much off/on that the one for the Daily pages will be able to handle or will it start to break down with all the bending. So far so good though. It also has a little pocket folder in the front to replace the back flap in the bound one so that's nice, but I foresee my items sliding out of this and wish it was something that held the items securely or had a flap. Overall I'm very happy with this new, lighter version and love price point!

Affordable introduction to panda planners
This is my first panda planner, though I bought one as a gift awhile back and always wanted one. The price point on the regular kind was a little high, so I jumped at the chance to try this one. It is small, which means it fits perfectly in a purse or bag and is easy to take with me. The paper is thinner than in the usual planner, but ink has not bled through and honestly it's fine. I like that the planner is spiral bound and has a sturdy plastic cover. It feels durable. I got the weekly planner, which has a column for "I'm grateful for" and "today's wins" as well as space for 3 goals/entries for each day. It also has a two-page spread for each month of the year in the front and some blank (dotted) pages at the back. I bought this planner to help me work on specific habits, so it's really perfect for my needs. I would buy it again, though who knows, might upgrade to something a little fancier when the time comes.

Quality control is lacking. Great concept though!
Update: The company is sending me a replacement planner w/o the stuck together pages. Updated rating as that was my only issue with the planner. This is my ideal planner. But the quality control is off. My pages were stuck together, and when I tried to pull them apart, they ripped out of the book. If that was fixed, this planner would be perfect. I love the removable dividers and the pen holder is cute and very sticky (I usually have to duct tape pen holders in due to poor glue, but this one stays put). I love it being spiral bound so I can keep it open on my desk all day. The paper is thinner, but my Pilot gel pens do not bleed through, so thatโs fine to keep costs down. I contacted the seller about the problem with my planner. Will update if I hear back.

ALMOST perfect, good enough for me!
(In case anyone wants to know why anyone would want to use an old-fashioned appointment book since smartphones can do everything, I have one word to say: RADIATION EXPOSURE. If you are using your phone too often for everything with zero protective measures, you are over-exposing yourself. Plus screen time for your eyes - another health issue to think about...) I bought this after seeing it had all of the features I wanted in a planner: compact & lightweight, sturdy, waterproof covers, has a full monthly calendar to write down appointments, ample spaces to write notes for each month and on the back of the whole planner. Bonuses are the transparent plastic pocket in the front and all of those journal pages in the back that force you to record what you are grateful for and wins for each day. This actually was a big surprise to me in terms of what a blessing this has been since I am a recovering perfectionist and tend to be too hard on myself with everything so I tend to wax pessimistic of how my day went. I didn't realize how badly I needed to acknowledge whatever DID go right - in other words count my blessings each day - until I got this journal. If you look carefully, it does NOT ask you to record WHAT WENT WRONG or mistakes you made. The ONLY reason I had to remove one star is because this company that designed this appointment book made the mistake of not creating 6 rows of boxes to fill in the calendar, it only has 5. This resulted in me handwritiing/ squeezing in an extra box for certain months into the page. (See photo) This is a huge mistake that shouldn't stop you from buying this but should be brought to the attention of the manufacturer. (Is anyone there reading this??) Other than this one point, it's great! It may be more helpful to meet your needs this year than you think!

Quality Product
Had the older bulkier panda planner and after a while felt it had a bit too much going on as a day-to-day planner and needed something more simple and minimalistic and this was just perfect, having seen the reviews and videos the page quality seems fine to me perhaps its been improved, looking forward to increasing my productivity over the next few months.

Depends on what you are using it for
The physical product - i dont enjoy that the paper is so thin and flimsy. The quality of the product could be improved for the price - even if this is supposed to be a discounted price. I like the monthly habits trackers. It's important to be disciplined and try to form a habit. I'm still learning how to do that consistently but the tracker helps. It's undated so you can start using it any time of the year, though i would recommend starting in Jan to get a bit of momentum going. The actual weekly planner pages - i like the gratitude and win colums. They force you to focus on what has gone right. It is important not to just fill in the blanks but to really evaluate what's gone right and what's gone wrong in your day - easier said than done. If you are a busy professional, when you wake up in the morn, its "go go go" and when you get to bed at night, you are too drained to think through your day. Budget some time before bed to do this consistently to form a good habit. I use the planner primarily just to track wins and express gratitude - it's not perfect but it does help. If you are also hoping to track other things or take daily noted, the spaces provided may be too little and it may get a bit messy. So how useful you find the planner really depends on what you use it for. Lastly, for the weekdays, there are 3 dedicated boxes to put in your tasks for the day. I have so far failed at achieving all the tasks i put in there. You really need to be decidated and force yourself to achieve the tasks each day for this planner to help. If you "fall off the wagon", there is a chance you will stop taking it seriously altogether.

Hope it helps
Layout was just what I need to try and get sorted out. Things are working well so far and the planner is doing its part.
