Nice warm blanket smells a bit, just air it out and enjoy it!
This is a very nice, warm blanket. It had a bit of a mothballs type odor, which we had been warned about. Airing it outside for a couple of days, however, took care of that problem. It was in like new condition (just because it had been stored, not used), and fit the bill of a wool army blanket for me. This is the real deal, I recommend it.

Smell like chemicals
This smells like fire retardant. The blanket is great if you love breathing chemicals.

Excellent blanket, nice and warm
Excellent blanket, nice and warm. Smells funny at first. Hung it up and burned sage around it. Smells better now. Airs out after a few days.
