This tray just came in at 3:45 PM. I put it together in less than 15 minutes, and it is now 4:15 PM, and I'm writing a review with pictures!! I've been battling TV trays for years. A few days ago, I placed a bowl of chowder and a glass of water on my TV tray, turned around, hit the side of the tray (slightly), it collapsed...it took over an hour to clean up the mess on the hardwood floor, two rugs, my chair and table and the sofa. I googled "something other than a tv tray, and this is one of the options that came up. After hours of looking at other tables, I finally bought this one. It was $63.00 when I bought it, and now it's $56.00 - that's the only complaint I have with it.Putting it together was a breeze. Then I turned it right side up, placed it on a rug and it didn't move. YES!! No shaking, wobbling, collapsing...and the height is just right, which was something I was concerned about. On the floor, it is so stable - I can't wait to eat my dinner tonight! The wood is smooth and well finished. The table top is bigger than most TV trays, and it is sturdy even on the edges. The bamboo color is a favorite of mine. Other than the price, this is the best "TV tray" I've ever owned. I will never buy TV trays again. This table is perfect!! Highly recommend!!02/21/2024 Update: I still love this style of "TV tray and I love this particular one I bought...BUT...the top is laminate. If I had known, I would have bought the one that was $20.00 cheaper. Oh well, live and learn.

I ordered this tray not having the highest of expectations however this is a good quality wood tray. It is sturdy, looks nice, and a good value all things considered. Assembly was pretty simple and took me about 20 minutes to complete by myself. The assembly didn't go absolutely smooth as one screw gave me issues but I finally got it to go in properly. Overall I would definitely buy this tray again.

The media could not be loaded.  I love these TV tables because first off the solid white tops are awesome and seem semi liquid resistant but we have been still careful about using coasters and heat pads for warmer food on them. They're a great size and height. Make sure to check your furniture's height but for my recliners these are perfect... My recliners the seat is about 16-17 inches high from the ground and the arms of the recliners are about 23-24 inches high off the ground. The TV tables are roughly 23.5 inches wide across horizontal and a little under 16 inches vertical and then they are 25.5 inches tall... At least the L shape tables are. They're awesome. I love that the tops have the rounded corners and white edges along the sides of the tops and are white underneath as well. And the light bamboo color wood bases are nice. They are sturdy but still easy to move when needed. Not so light that they'll fall over easily but not super heavy to move around... Just right. I spent $120 and change on a pair of these and it was worth it in my opinion. We used to have an old pair of wooden folding TV tables which the tops fold down and the legs fold up and they became really loosely goosey over time and they would be unstable and fall over when the cats jumped on them. my cat jumped on one of these and it hardly moved. I also love that you get the option of using it in front of you for a work space for a laptop or drawing or writing or really just like a classroom desk space or can use it for eating and watching TV at the same time which we do lol. But you can have these out front of you or you can have them alongside you over the arm of the chair or couch as a side table. As long as the dimensions of your furniture allow for that. But still would make a great TV table or side table either way. 👍 I don't really have anything bad to say. They also arrived in totally fine condition. No damage upon arrival. But Amazon is usually pretty good about returns and exchanges or refunds even if something does arrive damaged. We are happy!

Bought this for my elderly father to use when he's seated on the couch. It's surprisingly sturdy and looks as well as any “TV tray table” ever does. It would also work okay for a laptop.The table components were well packaged. There were two places that chipped during sawing but were stained over. They were not visible at all after assembly. The finish is good and seems somewhat protective. The table isn't high enough to clear the admittedly high arms on this sofa, so measure for clearance if that's important to you. The legs slide underneath this sofa but may not fit under some. The legs slide well on carpet but would need some felt pads to do so on hardwood or tile floors.Assembly was a bit of a pain as the diagram isn't as clear as it could be, but the video on this website helped. A flathead screwdriver (not included) may be needed to align the metal plugs at the bottom of the screw holes. Those plugs are a great way to ensure sturdiness, the hardware is high quality, and the exact amount needed was included, a rarity in flat box furniture.I would buy this again if I needed another table in front of a sofa.
